So on Tuesday, Joe and I had a special date. Out neighbor has an airplane so the three of us decided to fly to Missouri to eat at Lambert's.

When the plane landed we called Lambert's. Can you believe that they have a guy whose job it is to come and pick people up from the airport and bring them to the restaurant?!
If you haven't been to Lambert's before, it's really good country food. They are famous for their large portions and "throwed rolls". Throwed rolls you ask? Yup...there is a guy walking around throwing rolls that you have to catch. Here is is getting ready to launch one my way.
Joe ordered the country fried steak with corn and fried apples. It was so big that it came out in it's own skillet.
I ordered the veggie plate with corn, green beans, fried apples, and onion/cucumber salad.
They also have people walking around the fried okra (YUM!!), fried potatoes, mac and cheese, etc.
It's right on the way from Memphis to St. Louis, so if you are ever in that area....stop by Lambert's, your belly will thank you :)

I LOVE Lambert's! Yum!! It's so delicious but also so fun! How neat that you decided to fly there. What a life. :) Hope you have a nice Saturday.
Never heard of it, but it seems like a very cool place. Glad you had a night to remember!
