Let's Make Things a Little Spooky

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it...our Halloween decorations were not that fab this year. Maybe it was because we were on a cruise for a week during the middle of October. Maybe it's Joe working midnights. Maybe it's that I amCRAZY busy. Whatever the reason is, we did not go all out like we have in years past....just a few carefully placed decorations.

Letterpress letters that spell out BOO and a spider votive
I pulled out some spooky books we had and added a skull on top.
A spooky tree candle holder and haunted house that I picked up from Pottery Barn a few years ago.
Our "Martha Stewart" witch that Joe made us a few years ago. She is made of wood and hold a broom in one hand and a lantern in the other.
Pumpkins and Mums :)
I promise Christmas will be WAYYYYY better!!

Happy Halloween!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day! We had a BUSY weekend so I have been relaxing. Joe has to work tonight, so it's going to be a pretty low-key evening :) Enjoy these pictures from past Halloweens.

Half Moon Cay (aka Paradise)- Day #5

For our 2nd port of call we went to Carnival's private island, Half Moon Cay. It was my favorite stop on the cruise.

We had to take a little boat over to the island.
