Easter Day!

We had a such a nice Easter weekend. On Saturday, I took Sally to meet some friends at a local church's egg hunt. They also had a bunch of bounce houses so she had fun!!

On Saturday night we had friends over and before bed Sally decided she needed to leave some carrots, water and a jingle bell for the Easter Bunny.  We told her if she didn't go to bed, the Easter Bunny would hope right over her house. :)

I had so much fun gathering things for her basket this year. I set it out in the dining room with some free printable rabbit prints from Pinterest.

When we woke up (BRIGHT AND EARLY) on Easter, she came downstairs and literally screamed when she saw the bunny prints and her basket.

Here is what he left her :)

She was so excited about her chocolate bunny and giggled as she bit his ears off.

She also loved her new stuffed unicorn. She said "Oh my darling" and then named him Golden Harvest. She is so funny!

We had the table all ready for the Easter lunch we were hosting.

Sally had so much fun playing with her cousins. They even had an egg hunt!

I managed to get one family picture...30 weeks pregnant!!

Happy Easter!!

We are really making progress in Henry's room. I am still waiting on the bedding but here is a sneak peak. After its totally done, I will be doing a full tour with sources for everything.

I won some Minnie ears on an Instagram contest and they came in last week. LOVE them!! Find them here

{three}
My sweet friends are throwing me a baby sprinkle. Nothing big....just super close friends and family. I'm excited though :)

{four}
Joe went all out for St. Patricks Day and picked Sally up from school in this outfit. She loved it but I told her when she was 16, she would probably feel differently :)

{five}
Easter has come and gone and I'm sad to take my decorations down.

We went to Bass Pro to get the free picture with the bunny. Sally was so excited.

I packed Sally a few fun lunches for Easter. Here is one of them.

We made recycled crayon bunnies for her classmates.

We made chocolate bunnies in a jar for her sweet teachers.

We attended the Germantown Egg Hunt and Sally had a blast. It was FREEZING!!

Hop, Hop, Hop! Easter 2015

Happy Easter weekend everyone! Ours was jam packed of fun! Here is how it all went down.

First I need to show you the cute lunches I made for Sally this week at school.

I also made some happies for her teacher and friends at school.

And I built a beautiful flower box for the dining room.

After school I went to bootcamp and when I picked her up from the kids area, she was a little bunny. They had painted on a nose and whiskers :)

Joe's mom and stepdad came in town on Friday and we went to dinner at Hueys (a local burger place). On Saturday we woke up bright and early to get started on projects. The girls made a fairy garden and the boys started working on Sally's playhouse.

We made a fairy house using an empty orange juice container. I hot glued pebbles to the outside and made a door out of popsicle sticks. My MIL glued pinecone parts on a cardboard cone for the roof.

Here is the finished product. I love how it turned out.

On Saturday night we had some friends over for pizza and played games.

Sunday we were up bright and early. The Easter Bunny had come!! He even left his paw prints when he was hopping around the house.

The Easter bunny brought Sally a whole basket of goodies!

Then we went outside to see that he had also hidden eggs for her in the front yard! She had so much fun finding them.

Then it was time for the real meaning of Easter. We attended the most beautiful Easter service at HOPE. It was seriously so moving! After church, we hurried home to get ready for the Easter lunch we were hosting. Everybody brought stuff so it was super easy. The girls had an Easter egg hunt in the yard and it was precious seeing them help each other find the eggs. They are at such a sweet age right now.

It was a perfect day spent with family!

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a wonderful and fun filled weekend. On Friday I did some Easter decorating. Here is the entry hall table.

I also went to Spin class with these lovely ladies.

Friday night we had a date night. We went to the shooting range. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I have shot a gun. We tried to go a few years ago and I pretty much was too scared and cried the whole time. I was super scared but did a great job.

Turns out I am actually a pretty good shot. Of course I wanted to shoot a zombie so I could pretend I was on The Walking Dead :)

After dinner we went to one of our favorite spots for dinner, Side Porch Steak House. It was super yummy as always.

Saturday morning we made pancakes...elephant pancakes to be exact.

 Then we took Sally to a local Easter Egg Hunt. I wasn't much of a "hunt", but she had fun collecting eggs and putting them in her bucket. can you believe it was snowing?!  We were freezing. After the hunt we looked at the petting zoo and took a picture with the bunny.

On Saturday night we had a family date night. First we went to dinner at and then we went to the Orpheum to see Disney in Concert. It was fabulous and our little Cinderellas had the best time!!
