Five On Friday

I leave for my AEP Disney trip a week from today. I am so very  excited!!

I mist admit I am a little nervous to leave Sally for 6 days but I know she and Joe will have a blast!

We had a great 4th of July. Joe was on a trip out of town but we started the day off with homage waffles with berries. 

We headed to my uncles for a pool party and had a blast!!

Sally did a sparkler for the first time. I was a nervous wreck...especially when she almost touched it to her face!

Sally has been a little sass pot lately. Im trying to find the right balance between ignoring and discipline.

We did a fairy inspired photo shoot this week at Overton Park. It was the perfect setting!! I love the sneak peaks so far!

I feel slightly ashamed that I haven't blogged about our summer plans each week. I had good intentions. I just decided I would rather not spend time those weeks writing it all out. Ill be back soon with a full recap and then we will hopefully get back on track.

Fall Pictures and Alice In Wonderland Photo Shoot

We had some family pictures done a few months back and I realized I never shared them on the blog. I knew we would use one for Christmas cards but I also wanted to get some of Sally too. She is super into Alice in Wonderland so I had to get some themed pictures. These pictures were taken by Jennifer Davenport Photography. She is super talented!! Enjoy!

Flower Child

I have a new friend and she happens to be a new and upcoming photographer. She has always taken really beautiful pictures so I am so happy that she is starting a business. She offered to take some pictures of my sweet Sally this past weekend. We met at the sunflower field by my house and I am just loving the way these pictures turned out.  Faison is truly talented and I just know her photography business will be super successful. Thank you sweet friend for capturing Sally's personality so perfectly.

Family Pictures {Spring 2013}

I bought a Groupon several months back for a one hour photo session with a local photographer. I decided to have the pictures done at the Arlington town square. Although I am not IN LOVE with these pictures (or the photographer for that matter), I am happy with the way that everything turned out. I have learned though that if a photographer offers a good deal on Groupon/Living Social, etc. BEWARE! They either need the business really bad or they sell too many deals and have a hard time either fitting you in or getting your disc to you.
