Bon Voyage!!

In college one day, Sister Kristy and I had an idea that we should go a cruise for Spring Break. I had never been on one before and it seemed like a good plan. We went over to the computer lab so that we could research cruises on computers next to each other and within a few hours we had one booked. We did not ask our boyfriends or parents permission...we just did it! A few weeks later, we flew down to New Orleans, took the city bus downtown and drug our luggage across the French Quarter in the RAIN! We were too cheap to pay for a cab. Then we boarded our cruise ship and had a super fun week that I will always remember. We went to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Progesso....(sister, did we go there? or did it get canceled....I can't remember!).

Here are some random pictures that I scanned in.

We layed out a bunch with Allison, a friend we made from Texas.

We explored Cozumel and endured a lot of cat-calling from the Mexican men...can you blame them??

We snorkeled and swam with sting rays in Grand Cayman.
Can you see Sister Kristy getting a sting ray put on her?

Fun Fact: We got to go inside the New Orleans Real World house when we got back. It was all fake!! We also happened get back on St. Patric's Day and got to experience a New Orleans parade.

For about 2 months, I have been trying to talk Kristy and Steven into going on a cruise with Joe and I for Fall Break in October. After much begging, I had just about given up. Imagine my surprise when I got the mail yesterday!! A card from my sister telling me that they are coming...yay!! I am so excited for a couples trip with Kristy and Steven before we have kids. We are going to have sooo much fun and make some life long memories :)

Charleston-Day 4

On our fourth and last full day in Charleston, we decided to just stroll around all day with no agenda. We saw the beautiful Episcopal church.Modeled with frogs :)
SGot sassy for the camera man.
Looked at beautiful houses!
Toured the Calhoun Mansion...where they filmed some of The Notebook.
The house was beautiful but they wouldn't let you take pictures inside...boo!!
Joe posed with one of the fountains...
and decided that he needed a bear claw from the candy store. He was one H-A-P-P-Y boy!
After a long walk, we were HOT, so Joe played in the outside fountain
and then we took a walk along the water.

We had a delicious dinner at Magnolias.

Then, we decided to do a little ghost hunting. We went next door to the Embassy Suites, which is actually the old Citadel. It looks like a castle on the outside.
Look at the difference in the inside today and what it used to look like.

Later we headed to the graveyard and took some neat pics...
See that strange green light on the ground....orb??

Stella and Dot

A few nights ago I hosted a Stella & Dot party. Any chance I can get to throw a party....I am in!! And what other colors would I use but pink and green?! I decided to cover the buffet in the dining room with a white tablecloth and got a piece of cute printed fabric from Hobby Lobby. I made a dessert buffet!!
Drink station
I was able to use the free "display" butterflies that I got from Target.

I sent Joe out into the yard to find me some branches and then glue cut out paper butterflies onto them.
I made some cute pink and green bunting.

All the cute stuff was set up so the girls could play dress up!
I got this cute necklace as "happy" from my wonderful stylist, Lisa. Love it!!
Here are a few other things on my wish list:

Oh, and ladies...if you see some thing that you simply MUST have, you can order from me until Aug. 6th. Just go to www.stelladot.com/lisabailey and click on "can't make it to the party" (or something like that) and then type in my name. Your purchases will be shipped directly to your house. ENJOY!!
