While wasting time on Pinterest the other day, I saw a little project that I simply had to make for my classroom. Enter the "Teacher Toolbox". Here is a link to the original post. I love that she gives you the printables to make this. I printed them off, cut them out and glued onto cute scrapbook paper. I got the toolbox at Lowe's for around $17 and spray painted it lime green. I love the way it turned out!!

Meet The Teacher Monday

Tell us a little something about you...
Het Ya'll! I am Sarah and let me tell you a little about me. I am married to Joe and we have been married for a little over 5 years. We are expecting a baby in February!! I own my own cupcake business.
How long have you been teaching?
This is my eighth year teaching. I have taught Kindergarten since day one and I cannot imagine ever teaching another grade...that scares me.
You might not know...
Things I love: burlap, starfish, animals, chocolate, getting the mail, the beach, Disney World, bugs, having my picture taken, Target, root beer, and getting pampered.
Things I do not love: snakes, people who are not nice to animals, hunting, Nascar, coffee, lazy people, teacher sweaters, teacher stuff (apples, A+ stuff, teddy bear things), and cheese.
What are you looking most forward to this school year?
I am excited for a fresh start. I am excited for my new group of kiddos and how they will react as my belly gets bigger with this pregnancy.
What do you need to improve?
I need to work on not getting stressed out. There are so many things to do everyday and I tend to freak out when they don't happen. I need to learn to relax more.
What teaching supplies can you *not* live without?
I love my colored flair pens and Mr. Sketch markers. They make grading papers fun :) I also love my fun music that we listen to during nap.

Today I am playing along with MJ at Teaching in Heels.
If you are a teacher, feel free to join in.
I love this class promise. I plan on doing this Monday when I have all of my kids at school.
