WILW: Recent Purchases Edition

Here are some recent purchases that I am loving and wanted to share.

My NEW CAR!!!

It's used but new to me...a black Lexus GX 470 

Its pretty much my dream car and I feel like hot stuff whenever I drive it!!

I was in the market for some new running shoes and was quite excited when I saw these cuties online at DSW.com. I also had a $20 reward to spend so the price was right! I cannot wait until they come in the mail. I just literally went to the front porch to see if the mail guy had come yet.

Shrimp and Grits had a sale a few weeks ago and I snagged up this adorable bubble for Sally to wear next summer!

{four}

A local girl was selling her daughter's smart trike. I had wanted to get one for Sally but hadn't yet. I was so excited when she wold it to me for $40!! Sally loves it and I love that it can grow with her!

On the way home from the beach, we stopped at World Market just outside of Mobile. I just had to get a set of these plastic plates for eating on the patio.

I also needed this rope door stop...love how I'm not using it on a door. I like it stacked on some old books. I'm crazy like that!

Not really sure how it happened, but when I got home from the beach I had a $100 IKEA gift card waiting for me in the mail. I guess I won a contest...woo-hoo!!

I love these monograms that I got on this swimsuit, cover up and dress for Miss Sally. The lady that did them owns Sweet Bottom Sewing Company (she's on Facebook). She is the mom of a former student and has amazing prices. Local girls...$2 per letter!!!

I have been doing really well with my work outs...trying a lot of new classes at the gym and taking a 3 mile walk everyday with Sally.

This is my new favorite treat. They are tiny and each one has 150 calories!!

My training group that I have been doing did our 5K(Oak Hall) on Sunday. Although I did not go super fast by any means, I was very proud of myself and set my PR! Here are some pics from after the race!

Bonus points if you know who this is!! It's Hollywood from the movie, Mannequin. I was so excited when I saw it was coming on Tv this week...so naturally I set my DVR and recorded it!

I did Zumba last night at the Germantown Athletic Club. I felt pretty silly since there were some girls there that looked like pro's with their belly dance belt things on. I had fun though!

Sweet Sally's first birthday was featured on Kara's Party Ideas!! I feel so honored :)

I am so happy that it is finally May and that summer is just around the corner. I have been having so much fun picking Sally's outfits out each morning. Leg rolls and sunsuits just GO TOGETHER!

Ok...this girl who "doesn't run" is considering signing up to run the 1/2 marathon. I have walked it twice...but this year I think I will be running it!! Yay!!

This table is being built by my amazing (and super talented) hubby. He got some old barn wood and I cannot wait to see it styled up in my entry hall!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am loving the line of for the Live at the Garden concert series. It's the one thing in Memphis I always talk about attending and have yet to do.

We have booked our Destin trip for the last week of May. I am so excited to get my toes in the sand and fruity drink in my hand. We took Sally last year but she was so little. I cant wait to see what she thinks of the sand and water.

I took part in a wonderful run on Monday for Boston. It was through Fleet Feet here in Memphis and was an amazing experience!

I am so excited to announce that I am getting more serious about my business. I am working on a travel blog and business cards and will share them with you as soon as everything is ready. I am so excited to share my love of travel with everyone and grow my business.

I scored some super cute stuff at Loft today. They had a 50% off everything sale and I decided to pop in after work and Im so glad that I did. 

I got this shirt...in the color below and also in a bright yellow,

a super cute clutch (this picture does not do it justice!),

a really cute dress that I can wear to both school and out to dinner, 

and a cute scarf!
