Fill In The Blank Friday

Yikes...I just realized it has been FIVE DAYS since I last blogged. It has been a super busy week with me going back to work. I do not know how you working mama's do it! By the time I get off work and pick Sally up from whoever is watching her that day I am exhausted. It takes all the energy I have left to come home and make dinner....forget working out and blogging. Those have just been put on the  back burner....oh well....life goes on and it's almost summer break for me. I figured I could at least find the time to do Fill In The Blank Friday, so here we go!

1.  Something that is very near and dear to my heart is,  traveling. Joe and I spend a lot of our money on traveling and it is so worth it .

2.      Birthdays   are a good cause to celebrate .

3.  The most fun I ever had was     pretty much any trip...cruises, Disney World, the beach....I will take it all!

4.  True friends are   the ones where you can be honest, tell your secrets and no topic is off limits  .

5. Something that makes me terribly happy is       Sally's sweet smiles.

6. A good way to spend a sunny day is     at the pool with a cold beverage and good on the grill  .

7.  My favorite celebratory food is   an cream cone .

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.  On a scale from 1-10 the frequency with which I get sick is,   a one. I have been a Kindergarten teacher for 8 years now. Let's just say I have a great immune system!

2.   The last time I felt sick was   when I was pregnant!    .

3.  The worst part about being sick is     how you just want to lay around all day       because     you feel lazy  .

4. When I am sick I like to be taken care of by   my mom.

5. Something I do to keep myself healthy is    eating lots of fresh fruit and veggies .

6. A secret remedy that I use when I'm sick is to    sleep, take hot bath and drink sprite.

7.  One thing that always makes me feel better when I'm sick is   a popsicle .

Fill In The Blank Friday (on Saturday)

1.  My bedtime routine includes: take a bath/shower...put on pajamas...watch a little TV or check blog/facebook/Pinterest...eat some fruit...brush my teeth...take my bc...put on moisturizer.... put lotion on my feet....get in bed...go to sleep.

2.   I am   not looking forward to going back to work in a week. I only have to work for 2 weeks and then it's summertime. I can't stand the thought of not being with Baby Sally those 2 weeks.

3.  I can't stand     Nascar      because    I can.

4. My idea of relaxation would be   a good book on the beach.

5. If I had an extra $50, I would    go to Target.

6. The best thing about a bloggy friend is    their encouragement

7.  A recipe I've been dying to try is   anything with salted caramel.

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.  When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is,   feed Sally. She is the reason I am up so early in the morning .

2.   I can hardly wait for   our beach trip in September...I hate that it is months away. I can't wait to see what Sally thinks of sand and the ocean    .

3.  The quickest way to my heart is     chocolate       because     it is so friggin good .

4. A little known fact about me is that    I used to wear a headgear when I slept in 6th grade...ha!

5. The best part about my job is    I get to see children learn new things .

6. Something I just couldn't live without is    moisturizer  .

7.  Something useful that I wish I knew how to do is   sew. TI always see cute little projects on Pinterest....maybe one day .

Fill In The Blank Friday!

1. Today is a good day because I'm spending time with Joe and Sally, getting some errands done and eating pizza for dinner .

2. The best thing I did all week was take my baby girl for a walk everyday. She loves being outside and hearing all the noises. I love this time together .

3. The current weather is cloudy and a little chilly and it makes me feel tired .

4. The best thing about spring is the beautiful flowers and chirping birds .

5. A fashion trend that I'm dying to try out for spring is colored shorts...if I can loose the rest of this baby weight.

6. A person who made me smile this week was my sweet baby girl. When she smiles, it makes my heart met! .

7. The most delicious thing I ate all week was gah....that's a tough one. It's hard to beat Cadbury Eggs and Reese's Eggs! I had Las Delicias though...that wins every time!

1. My greatest strength is my ability to get things done. I am also good at getting what I want .

2. My greatest weakness is that it is hard for me to go with the flow. I also tend to hold grudges .

3. People always compliment me on my eyes and now my baby .

5. The most cozy place in all the world is my bed snuggled up with Joe watching movies on the laptop (we don't have a tv in our room).

6. Something new that I tried recently was growing herbs in my kitchen window.

7. This weekend I would like to maybe get some sleep now that Joe is home, work in the yard and get my Easter basket shopping done. .

1. My favorite color is green .

2. My home decor color palette includes a lot of greens, browns, whites and yellows .

3. Other people always tell me I look good in the color red/coral...I think if you have dark hair this is true .

4. The color I detest is is purple...seriously my LEAST favorite color. It just reminds me of a certain type of girl...ahem...

5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colors you'd see would be lots of black but also lots of bright colors. I love coral and yellow right now.

6. A color that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is purple...and I think you know why :)

7. The color of my favorite dress is black.

1. The highlight of my week was just spending time snuggling with my little monkey (Sally).

2. If I had to classify my interior design aesthetic it would be Pottery Barn meets the flea market.

3. My first vehicle was a 1986 Honda Accord named "Ethan". I cried when I sold it.

4. An item I need to have in my day in order to function is water. I have been so thirsty recently.

5. My favorite way to waste time is by puttering around on Pinterest. I just wish I put as much time into doing the projects that I spend so much time "pinning".

6. Right now I could really go for an ice cream cone.

7. This weekend I will be relaxing with Joe and Sally.

1. The love of my life is Joe and Baby Sally :)

2. Falling in love is the most awesome feeling in the world!! I think that in order to stay in love, you must continue to fall in love with that person over and over again.

3. Marriage is super fun. Joe and I are best friends.

4. The longest relationship I've ever had was 7 years...Joe.

5. The key to a good relationship is communication .

6. I feel loved when someone tells me that they love me or does something nice for me. I love when Joe gives me forehead kisses and tells me that I am beautiful.

1. I started my blog because I wanted to keep a record of what was going on in our life and I didn't feel like keeping a journal anymore.

2. One thing I love seeing on other blogs are shopping hauls...I like to see the scores and deals that other people find.

4. A favorite blog post of mine is probably announcing my pregnancy. I can't wait to share the birth story!

5. Something my friends in real life know about me that I've never before mentioned on my blog is that I can sometimes be very opinionated. I try to keep my political and social views off my blog.
