Joe got the job that we have been praying for. He had the interview this morning and they offered him the job on the spot!! I am so proud of him! At church yesterday the sermon was all about "Are We There Yet?"....the question that kids always ask on a car ride. That's how we always are with life....always wondering when we will be at that next step. It was very appropriate to what we have been dealing with. We have been praying for this next step for awhile. I am so excited for this next chapter of our lives. Go Joe!!

My Hub-Hub!

Menu Monday (or Tuesday)
Monday: BLT with pickled carrot sticks and apple slices
Tuesday: BLT with pickled carrot sticks and apple slices....what can I say, I like it and I don't want the bacon and bread to go bad.
Wednesday: Baked chicken and steamed broccoli with mixed greens salad with apples and pecans
Thursday: Peel and eat shrimp with salad
Friday: Chicken and veggie stir fry

I have decided that it officially sucks that I have to eat by myself practically every night...a big BOO! to that. Joe is home on the weekends which is nice, but I wish I could cook for both of us at night. It is not easy making food for just one person....hard to find the motivation. Sometimes it's easier (and cheaper) to hit up the Taco bell fresco menu.

Flashback Friday!
We Are Booked!!
Yay!! Our hotel is booked, the dining reservations are made and we are ready for some Disney Magic!! We are staying at the Port Orleans-French Quarter resort. They have a great pool and a boat ride to Downtown Disney.
On the first full day (Friday), we will be hitting up the Magic Kingdom and then taking a break for dinner. We plan on riding the monorail over to the Polynesian resort for dinner at the Kona Cafe. We ate here in 2007 and it was yummy! On Saturday, we will be going to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, coming back to the hotel and changing and then riding the boat over to Downtown Disney. We have a reservation at Wolfgang Pucks...yummy!!

Spring Break To-Do List
I am so happy to be on Spring Break...a little bummed that I am not on some fabulous beach, but happy none the less :) Joe is off both the weekends, but not the week in between. That leaves Sarah with a lot of "Sarah Time". I plan on hitting up the gym at least once per day...maybe twice some days. If this weather would warm up, I would love to take some walks/runs outside. So here is a list of things to accomplish this week in no particular order:
*Clean out/vacuum car (check!)
*Scrub the grout of the kitchen floor
*Work my Repeat Boutique shift (check!)
*Work on cleaning up the attic (check!)
*Get my donation over to Repeat Boutique (check!)
*Clean out the pantry (check!)
*Clean out the fridge
*Pack up some of my winter clothes and get some spring clothes down
*Self-Tan (check!)
*Make some returns to stores (check!)
*Plant my kitchen herbs in white IKEA pots
*Start some seeds inside (check!)
*Blow off back patio
*Go to Shelby Farms and read magazines on a sunny blanket :) (check!)

12 Months of Blooms
One of the best gifts I got for Christmas this year was a "Year of Flowers" from Joe. The card is from Holiday's Flowers in Germantown and basically every month you go in and get your card punched and you get free flowers....we not exactly free, because SOMEBODY paid for them...but not you! The card is $35 and makes a wonderful gift!! Here are my first two bunches :)

Doing The Happy Dance!!
Look where we are going the weekend of April 15-18th!! I am sooooo excited! Disney World is one of my favorite places on Earth! Joe and I are not Disney virgins!
We went on a week long Disney World vacation for our 1st Anniversary. It was June and very hot and the week was very long and tiring, but we still had fun.
The following January, we were able to do to Disneyland in Orange County, CA with our good friends Sam and Monica. While it was neat to see Disneyland, I like Disney World way better!
For my birthday last year (2009) we went to Disney for a long weekend. We were only in the parks for one day...crazy huh? Disney was running a promotion where you got in free on your birthday. It was awesome to have everyone say "Happy Birthday" and the whole day was so magical (silly I know)! This year they are running a promotion where you get a free ticket if you "Give a Day, Get a Day". You just have to do one day of volunteer work and you get a FREE TICKET!! You know I was all over that....so we did and now we have our tickets. This year we will be doing Disney one day and then heading to the water park the next...the big question is, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon....life if full of hard choices!!

Weekend Recap

Joe and I had a wonderful weekend...like usual :) On Friday afternoon, Joe sent me a text telling me that he had planned a date. We went to dinner at Bhan Thai...yummy! and then to see Alice In Wonderland at Studio on the Square. The movie was good but very "Tim Burton"....very odd! On Saturday, I woke up early to make cupcakes and then made breakfast for me and Joe. Later we went to the flea market...JUNK Market is more like it! Why cant it be more like the Nashville Flea Market filled with antiques? There were only a few antique booths and the rest was hair bows, knives, puppies, etc.
On Saturday night we went out with a group of friends for Lindsey's b-day to Osaka in Collierville. This was Joe's first Hibatchi experience...he liked it :) I made Lindsey a cute black and yellow cupcake tower. The cupcakes had little bumble bees on them.

Flashback Friday!
What great memory of a guy who used to be cool... My cousin/friend Lindsey won backstage passes for a John Mayer concert. The year was probably 2002?? It was when he was just getting famous. He signed my autograph "John Mayer loves Sarah". I am STILL convinced that he wanted my hot body :) Didn't we make a cute couple...haha...if only his head wasn't so BIG!!
