This past weekend I headed up to the Nashville area for Girls Weekend. First I drove to Jackson and hopped in the car with Beth and then we continued our journey to Sister Kristy's house. Natalie had an awful time trying to get to Nashville. She ran into terrible traffic and Baby Nolan was screaming in the back. She decided to turn around and go back to Knoxville.
After dropping our things off we headed to eat some Mexican food and drink some fruity drinks. Poor pregnant Beth had to drink a virgin margarita....that didn't stop some people from giving her a strange look!
Kristy and I doing the wedding drink pose :)
After dinner we put on PJ's and watched the movie, Love and Other Drugs. Beth went to sleep and Kristy and I stayed up talking until 1 am!
We woke up to BEAUTIFUL weather on Saturday and had Kristy's dad take some pictures before we headed out.
Can you tell that Beth is even pregnant? Her belly is small!
We decided to eat lunch at the historic Homestead Manor. It was yummy and was in a really neat old house.
Girls Weekend...YAY!

After lunch we headed to Green Hills to do some shopping. It was Nashville Fashion Week so we stopped to watch a fashion show....uh, not impressed!
We also shopped at Trader Joe's, Anthropologie, and stopped for a treat at Sweet CeCe's. We went to dinner at J Alexanders and then went back to Kristy's to watch THE WORST MOVIE EVER!! It was called The Brutal Truth and I got it from Blockbuster.com because it had Christina Applegate in it. Seriously, it was terrible!

On Sunday we woke up and went to breakfast at J. Christophers.

I had blueberry crunch cakes and they were sooooo good!
I loved this weekend. I love being with my girlfriends. We had a lot of good talks and laughs and made a bunch of memories. Hopefully we will be continuing this tradition after we all have babies....they will just have to stay with daddy for the weekend while the mommies get away and enjoy their girl time :)

Sounds like a fun weekend! Never been to J. Christopher's...is it in Franklin?
I really needed this weekend after the week I had. We will definitely have to make more of an effort to consistently plan our GWs once all the kids arrive. I've already forewarned Bill about being on babysitting duty with Mr. Brody during GW at my house because I am sure I will need a break and lots of wine!
