Joe is out of town and I start baking for the huge wedding on Saturday....550 regular sized cupcakes (6 different flavors) all wrapped in their own boxes, tied with a ribbon and a label put on....yup! I am going to be VERY busy over the next two days!

Friday:

I have to finish baking cupcakes for the wedding tonight....probably picking up Chick-fil-a or Pei Wei.

Saturday:

We have Greekfest tonight and a birthday party to go to, so we will be eating there.

No I was not one of the crazies who got up at 3 am to watch the royal wedding, but I did record it and I plan on watching it this weekend. I did catch a glimpse of her dress....very pretty! I used to be a "Prince William" girl but now I am "Team Harry" for sure :) I saw this poster and loved it!!

Fill In The Blank Friday!

1. I am looking forward to summer vacation! Having the summer off is one of the many joys of being a teacher! I have a few trips planned, some house projects, and a bunch of relaxing to do.

2. Something kind of embarassing that I still love anyway is the show Laguna Beach. I have all the seasons on DVD and I can seriously watch them over and over again.

3. My favorite car is a convertible or a Lexus RX300 in Black.

4. If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be dry warm weather with a cool breeze....kinda like Orange County,CA.

5. My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is to watch TV on the couch with Joe. He makes us a "nest" and we get on opposite ends of the couch. It makes me happy.

6. This weekend I will be relaxing on the couch with my hubby catching up on DVR, folding 400 cupcake boxes, working in the yard, working out, and running errands.

7. If I were a color, I'd be green because, I love nature and the color makes me happy.

Two Words....

SUPER FUNNY!!

Joe and I went to the advance screening last night of Bridesmaids and we LOVED it!! Joe was a little unsure since he was thinking it was going to be a chick flick (and he was missing the Grizzlies game!), but I think he laughed more than me. If you like movies like The Hangover, Wedding Crashers, Superbad, etc. You will love this....lots of laugh of out scenes, several inappropriate jokes...all around a great movie. Ladies, go see this with a bunch of girls or convince your guy to go with you. He will enjoy it!!

New Kicks!!

Well today my luck changed. I finally found some that were cute!! Imagine...pink and green on shoes. Yup, they were calling my name! I am so excited!!

Let's Go Junkin!!

Last Last week, I had a day off from work....what do I normally do when I have a day off work? Head to Nashville to go shopping with Sister Kristy of course! I left Thursday right after work and got to Nashville just in time for Mexican and girl talk...yay! On Friday we woke up and headed out. We started ran around to a bunch of places including Hobby Lobby, Super K Mart, lunch at Zaxby's and then downtown Franklin. One of my favorite shops is "The Shop Around the Corner".

They seriously have a the cutest stuff!! Not that I buy anything, mind you, but it's a great place to get ideas. They have lots of burlap, bugs, and colors....swooon!!

Afterwards, we headed to a junkier shop in Franklin. I LOVED this old card catalog. When I showed Joe this picture, his exact words were "Why didn't you buy that?!" I don't know....

We had a car full of stuff when we stopped to buy groceries at Trader Joe's. We also went to Cool Springs Mall.

On saturday we got up early and headed to the Nashville Flea Market.

We also hot up Southeastern Salvage. If you are ever in the Nashville area, you MUST check this store out! I swear they had stuff from Ballard designs for like 1/4 of the price!! Look at this awesome kitchen cart (perfect for a island).
