After watching what I have eaten my whole life, I throughly enjoyed being pregnant. It was nice to take a few months off from the gym and to not feel bad about eating chocolate. Not gonna lie though....I am ready to get back on the bandwagon. It just feels weird not to be in kickboxing class or on the elliptical machine. Although I didn't gain too much weight (according to the Dr.), I hit that number that I NEVER wanted to hit.
It doesn't matter though...I have a plan of attack:
I am breastfeeding as much as possible so I am hoping that will help with calorie burning. I will also be taking Sally on a lot of walks.
Once I get the go-ahead from the Dr. at my six week check up, I will be starting Weight Watchers and heading back to the gym.

Sarah,
Sally is soooooo adorable! Congratulations!!!
I think your plan of attack is GREAT--that's actually exactly what I have done after each of my 2 previous pregnancies, and I am getting ready to start Weight Watchers right now! I love the phone app to count the points.
My best advice for you is to not put too much pressure on yourself. Even after you lose the baby weight, your body will never ever be the same as it was before. Also, once Sally gets a little older, you will get a TON of exercise chasing her all around--so that really helps too! :)
Congrats again!
Let's pick a 5k and sign up! We can start walking again :)
I think that's an awesome plan!!! My mom lost around 20 lbs on weight watchers! (she didnt need to lose a lot) Your body will be back in no time!! :]
Gosh I wish! I am still working on it. Those numbers are not moving for me. I don't know what the deal is:(
nursing has always been my best weapon!
