1. Giving is awesome! That's what Christmas is all about. I love finding something at a store and thinking, "I have to get this for {insert name}". I don't like feeling like I have to buy for people. I think giving doesn't have to be tangible either. Giving your time is awesome too!
2. Receiving is pretty awesome too! Not gonna lie....
3. The best gift I ever received was a trip to Disney World from Joe.
4. The best gift I ever gave was a scrapbook to my mom before she passed away.
5. Something intangible that I wish I could receive is sewing skills so I could start making my un-concieved children clothing :)
6. Something intangible that I wish I could give is happiness. I am a very happy person and wish some of the people in my life were as happy as me.
7. The one gift I always wanted as a child, but never got was big Strawberry Shortcake house.
Yeah...when I was 3 years old I wanted this one:
But got this one..
My dad couldn't justify spending $100 on a "bunch of plastic". I am still scared for life that I didn't get the big Strawberry Shortcake house. He thought I wouldn't notice the difference.
But here I am, still. talking. about. it!
