Joe and I had an amazing opportunity yesterday. We were able to go get an free ultrasound at 13 weeks. How did we do this you ask. We know people. I kid....but not really. We have a friend, who has a friend who is a nurse at an ultrasound office and she said she needed an ultrasound model...um...yes! I told her to consider me her "official ultrasound model". We were able to see our little one moving all around which was so amazing. It kept grabbing at its face, touching its ears, etc. Quite the little mover. We had a heart beat of 147 and were right on target with the growth. She took like 20 pictures! I am so lucky to have had this opportunity. She even said we can come back and see more at 18 weeks :) I can't wait!!

Since you'll be getting one at the doctor around that same time you should see if she would let you wait to come at like 24 weeks. I think that's when we got some of the best (most defined) ultrasound pics.
