Joe and I got married June 10, 2006 in Memphis, TN and the Church of the Holy Communion. This is the church that I grew up in and its just gorgeous!

Joe and I decided NOT to see each other before the ceremony. I had always wanted the first time he saw me in my dress to be when I was walking down the aisle.
No cameras were allowed in the church during the wedding, so these pictures were taken from the choir loft.
Joe, the Groomsmen and the Bridesmaids walked into Jesu, Joy of Mans Desiring.
In the Episcopal church, it is customary for the groom to walk down the aisle with the Groomsmen. They do not come in from the side and wait for the Bridesmaids like in other churches. I like the formality of it all.
I walked into this Rondeau:
My dad walking me down the aisle.

We sang "Come Thou Font of Every Blessing". It is my favorite hymn.
I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride!
Look at Kristy being all nice and fixing my dress for me!

We left the church to Allegro maestoso.
As we walked back down the aisle to as man and wife we decided to skip the rest of the way Everyone was so shocked. They did not expect that...although they should have considering how silly we are.

Here we are with our priest. He did such an amazing job!
I loved our ceremony so much. It was so special and perfect!
