Tonight, I got together with several other Memphis Blog Girls for drinks and dinner at The Beauty Shop. I figured that we already read each other's blogs, so it would be fun to meet in real life...I was right! What a sweet and fun group of girls!!

*Waking up and going to school and it feeling like "Fall"

*Going to the Bell Witch cave near Nashville with my Dad

*Heading up to Minnesota with Joe for a wedding

*My Bath and Body Works "Leaves" candle....it's awesome and makes my whole house smell yummy!

*Our cruise in October with Kristy and Steven

*Halloween!!

*All the crafts fairs in September and October

*Going to the Farmer's Market when I am not melting!

*Going to the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard

*Having my kids at school know how to walk in a line, sit quietly, etc.

Mollie's Sip and See

On Sunday I went to Mollie and baby Scarlett's sip and see. They live up near Nashville and came down for families and friends to meet the baby. Mollie and I have been friends since 1st grade...it was crazy to see her as a mommy :)

On Saturday, I went to the Goodwill in Bartlett and came home with two goodies....gold flats...perfect for school and a book that I have had on my must read list....score!

Scheduling Sunday

Sunday: Going to Mollie's Sip and See and then picking up Joe at the airport.

Monday: Gym in the am before work and Blog Girls dinner at 7. Making Cupcakes.

Tuesday: Gym in the am before work and PTSA meeting at 7.

Wednesday: Kickboxing at 5:30 and then hanging out with Joe....finally!!

Thursday: Kickboxing at 5:45 and then dinner with Joe. Making Cupcakes.

Friday: Making Cupcakes :)

Saturday: Lots of cupcake pick ups and deliveries, running errands, Midnight Bike Classic??

Hopefully I will cook on Wednesday and Thursday....but let's not keep any fingers crossed!

Simple Things You Can Do Everyday :)

There are a few things that I do every time I go to the grocery/Target. Doing these 2 little things not only helps the environment, but also makes you feel good.

1. Bring your own bag to the store. Yes, it is a habit that takes some getting used to. I have been doing it for about 2 years now and I honestly cannot imagine not doing it now. I always keep several in my trunk so that I always have one available. Most people say, "I just never remember to bring them into the store with me." Well you have to make it a habit. When you know you are going, put a bag in the passenger seat of your car so that you will see it and remember it.

2. As you are walking into Target,grocery store, etc. grab a basket and bring it in. You are going to need one anyways and this way it saves the poor guys from having to go gather them all. Some people say, "But it's their JOB!". Yes, it is their job and believe me, they will still have plenty of baskets to bring in. This is just one less. AND you need one anyway....just do it :)
