
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. ground Italian Sausage
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced bell pepper
1 cup chopped spinach ( I used frozen, but make sure that you thaw and press all the water out!)
4 oz. cream cheese
1 jar pasta sauce (I recommend Ragu sauteed onions and garlic)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 can diced black olives
2 cups Mozzarella cheese
1 box pasta (penne, bow tie, etc.)
Boil pasta, set aside. In a pan, brown the meat with the bell pepper, onion, spinach, and olives until brown. Add the sauce, seasoning and cream cheese and stir until heated. In a large pot combine pasta with sauce mixture and 1 cup of the cheese. Pour into a 13x9 baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 or until cheese is bubbly. Serve with salad and enjoy!
