It was Joe's turn to plan date night this week. It was a surprise and he did a great job! He drove us to Jerry's Sno-Cones (which is NOT in the best part of Memphis). Everyone always talks about going here and I had never been...but always wanted to go.
Joe got Blue Raspberry and I got Strawberry (of course!).
The sno-cones were soooo yummy!! They put so much syrup on them. Total amount spent- $3.00.
After dinner I let Joe convince me to see a movie that I had told him I WOULD NOT EVER see-
"The Last Exorcism". This movie was scary and had an unexpected twist at the end. We also used some free movie passes I had which made this date only $3.00. Now that's what I call a fun date!!
Here we are with our colored tongues waiting for the movie to start. I LOVE date night!!

Hi Sarah! I am a kindergarten teacher in SCS also! I found your blog through a friend and hearing about your bakery endeavor! I am so envious of you ;) I have always wanted to open my own bakery one day! I just love reading your blog now and wanted you to know that you have inspired me to try planning every other week date nights with my husband also! He is excited to get to plan one now too. No I don't, well I do have one for my small coaster business but it's not updated at all!! I've thought about starting one! Probably once we buy a house I will start one. :)
