We are in the mist of a winter ice storm. Schools have been closed, Joe is tiling the shower, and Sally is asleep. That means I am catching up on some blog posts. I wanted to share Sally's Christmas list ;)

Hershey's Spread Review
I was recently sent a jar of Hershey's new chocolate spread to try from Crowdtap. I have been buying that other brand of chocolate spread for the past few years. This one is just as good ;) I also love that it contains no high fructose corn syrup.
Here are some things that I like to eat it with:
Pineapple
Graham Cracker....the spread makes smores so yummy!
Pretzels
Marshmallows
I also love it with strawberries, raspberries...heck, straight out of the jar!
It should be at the grocery store really soon so make sire and check it out!

Prepping Your Guest Room For Guests
Joe's parents will literally be here any minute. They are driving down from Minnesota to spend Thanksgiving with us and we are so excited to see them! I wanted to try and so some simple decorations for the guest room to make it a little festive. Here is what it looks like.
I put together a little welcome bucket of goodies for them. It has Twizzler bites (their favorite), Milk Duds, honey roasted peanuts and some fruit....just a little something to make them more comfortable (and take care of any late night cravings!).
I took a glass jar that I already had and added some pinecones. I also added a burlap pumpkin (Hobby Lobby), a framed quote, and some Scrabble tiles to spell out "grateful".
I also made a banner using free printables from Pinterest.
Here is a another view.
I always try to stock my guest room with magazines. I have them stored in a vintage milk crate.
I also always put a stack of freshly laundered towels and washcloths on the bed.
I asked Joe to install a hook on the back of the door. Our bathroom remodel is still not finished so we will all be sharing a bathroom (yay!). I thought it may be easier to have a place where they can hang their towels.
Sally loves this little shelf I have. Its full of vintage children's books. She loves to read them...upside down.
What do you do to make your guests more comfortable?

5 on Friday
{one}
I just finished reading Bloom by Kelle Hampton. I had read Kelle's blog and was so moved by the birth story of her sweet baby girl that I just had to read the book!
The pages are all wrinkly because I have been reading it every night in the bath. It was wonderful!
{two}
I just did a Disney post over on my otherhttp://disneyfairygodmother.blogspot.com/ blog. It's all about the cute Minnie and Mickey stuff they have at Walgreens right now.
{three}
My sweet friend, Kelly, had us over last weekend for pizza and s'mores. We all had fun but Sally had an absolute blast. She loves playing with "big girls"!
{four}
Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving...you know in just a few days?! My in laws are coming in town from Minnesota and we have all kinds of fun things planned :)
{five}
Our bathroom is slowly coming back together. The walls are painted and Joe has the board and batten up. He is laying the floor as I type.
