Another Antiquing Trip

Sally and I had another fun day shopping at Sheffield's in Collierville. We didn't buy anything but I did see a lot of things that I wanted. Here are the things that I was loving:

I attempted to make homemade finger paint this week. I followed the directions exactly but it is super clumpy and I doubt it will work....epic fail. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and just bought Crayola :)

I have a slight obsession with owls (even though I wasn't a chi-o). I was so excited to score this cute outfit on Zulily. Yay!!

All my teacher friends are back at school getting their rooms set up for a new school year and I am hanging out with Sally, cleaning and organizing. To say I am happy is an understatement. I have a new car, a fabulous hubby, a beautiful house and a healthy girl...life is good!

Thoughtful Thursday

Eat Here: Tug's

On Friday night we drove downtown to Tug's. It's on Mud Island in Harbortown. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. It is actually #16 on Tripadvisor for Memphis.

We made sure to get there during happy hour....its everyday from 3-7. They have several drink special and appetizers for $4.95.

Here is the drink I got....the Strawberry Snapple Martini. It was yummy! I just realized I took the picture with it right next to Sally's cup :)

We decided to munch off of the appetizer "specials"...really healthy right?

Summer To-Do: Go To A Baseball Game

When we were visiting family in Minnesota, we checked an item off Sally's Summer To Do List: Go To A Baseball Game...a Minnesota Twins Game. 

The stadium is in Downtown Minneapolis and is really nice. Although it was the 4th of July and super hot, Sally did great during the day. She sampled all sorts of baseball game snacks including cracker jacks, a soft pretzel and peanuts.

We had a great day!!
