Girl's Weekend

I am still recovering from a super fun, extra long, Girl's Weekend. I came up early on Friday and Kristy and I ran errands....Green Hills Mall, Target, etc. Then we met the girls at Cool Springs Galleria and then went to Chuy's in Franklin for dinner...yummy!!
I loved the free salsa bar :)When we got home we had a Kristy and Zane photo shoot...here is my favorite.

On Saturday morning we went to Panera for breakfast and then to Target....I think we went to Target 3 times during the course of three days....sad, right? Then we went to Laura's neighborhood pool. It was sooo hot but we still had a blast....Synchronized Swimming anyone?

Thanks to Beth's new handy dandy tripod we were able to take some corny group shots.

Kristy and I both read "Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes" so we had to pose like she does before dinner.

For dinner we went to the delicious Acorn for dinner...yummy yum!

On Sunday we went to breakfast in Downtown Franklin at Puckett's Grocery....it was delish! But while we were waiting we had to have a photo shoot.

I stayed with Sister Kristy until Tuesday morning...I mean, Joe was working so I might as well, right? We shopped, antiqued, and chatted....much needed. On Monday night we met up with Esther, Laura and Katie for Mexican. Can you believe we are all bloggers? It was like a blogger convention. I wish I could live closer to all of these fun girls!! Can't wait until the next Girls Weekend.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun!

I cannot believe that I have been a official mom to this love sponge and a wife to this sexy beast for 4 years now. We have had a lot of fun adventures!

We decided to celebrate by going to dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants, Jim's Place East. It is a Greek place and very romantic.

I had the crab stuffed shrimp.....yum!!

Joe had some sort of steak with crab meat on top....he basically licked his plate clean.

Here we are after our belly's were full...still feeling like newly weds :) Marriage has been an adventure. We have learned so much about each other and it is not as hard as people told me it would be. Joe told me he was getting me a sweeeettt present....wait for it....

a frickin awesome camera!! I am sooo excited :) I knew I had to get him an equally awesome gift so I got him a new TV that he has had his eye on.

This is our first plasma TV and forgive me for saying this....but I'm not sure I like it. He says it's awesome but I liked the old one just fine. Every show looks "Canadian"....you know how Canadian shows have a different look about them?? I wonder if all plasmas do this or if we got a "special" one?? We will be celebrating our anniversary in July with a trip to Costa Rica..yay!!

First of all, I discovered a new product at Super Wally World today....Plink! You drop one of these wonder balls into the drain of your kitchen sink and then run hot water and the disposal. The next thing you will experience is a lemony fresh scent and a clean garbage disposal. AMAZING :)

In other news our sweet friends Abby and Ryan are back in Memphis for a few weeks. They have been teaching in South Korea and we haven't seen them since last summer. When Abby told me Ryan wanted some good BBQ, I told her there was only one place to go...Central BBQ!!!

Me and Abby...can you believe that we have been friends since middle school?! We are excited about spending time with these two this summer before they have to go back.
