Mama Must Haves.....Month 3

As my baby girl gets ready to turn 3 months on Friday, I wanted to share the things that have been oh so helpful during this third month of Sally's life.

Owl "Lovie"

Sally has several "lovies" but this one seems to be her favorite right now. She loves putting the owls little ears/horns in her mouth.

Nuk Pacifiers

These are Sally's favorite paci's. They just seem to stay in her mouth better than other brands.

Skip Hop Activity Gym

Sally loves laying on her activity mat and looking up at the little creatures. She has started batting at some of the things that hang down. We also do tummy time here.

My Little Snug-a-Bunny Bouncer

This is where Sally sits when we eat dinner. She loves the vibrations, music and little birds that hang down.

Ellen Show

This is what we watch in the morning while Sally eats her breakfast. Ellen is so funny. I love when she scares people and I LOVE when she has Sophia Grace and Rosie on the show!!

          

      Bumbo Seat

Sally loves to sit in her Bumbo seat..but only for short periods at a time.

So there you go...some of the things that have made my life easier this past month.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am loving all of these cute things that I have bought for Miss Sally recently using gift cards and registry completion coupons.

I also bought these two outfits from a lady on Better than Ebay (local FB group) and a painted wooden highchair. I got the high chair and these two outfits for $60...score!

I am loving the soap pump that Joe and I made using an old Mason jar.

I am loving the flowers I got from the Farmer's Market. They make my table super pretty!

I love that I did a sunscreen research study yesterday and made $75...yay!

I love that Joe and I are doing the Junior League 5K on Saturday morning. I will be pushing Baby Sally in the stroller. You can still register here.

Hello Monday!

Happy Monday! It's is pouring raining here in Memphis. Sally and I had big plans to go walk at Shelby Farms, but that is obviously not happening now. We are going to use today to be lazy, catch up on DVR and mark some things off the to-do list. This is my last week at home with my baby girl before I go back to work next Monday...boo! The good part is that I only have to work for two weeks until Summer break and she is only being looked after by friends and family. I am so thankful that she does not have to go to a babysitter. I am going to be a nervous wreck! You may have noticed my new blog design....it's just temporary. I have hired someone to make me a new blog design, but since she is so fabulous, I will not have it until June. So....this will have to do for now :)

Weekend Rewind

This past weekend we drove down to visit my little brother and his wife at their cute home in Jackson, MS.

This was Sally's first "trip" an she did great. Traveling with a baby takes a little more planning and organizing but it's easy.

On Thursday night we ate dinner at a fabulous Greek place called Keifer's and then went back to the house to watch Donnie Darko...strange movie...

On Friday, my brother and Joe worked on some projects around the house. Michelle and I went shopping at some antique stores. For lunch we went to Sal and Mookie's for pizza...super yummy!

My brother made Chinese food for dinner...orange chicken, kung pao chicken and white rice. It was delicious!

On  Drew and Michelle actually live in Fondren. It's where they filmed a lot of scenes in "The Help". Here are some pictures of places in Fondren where they filmed. This is all less than a mile from my brother's house....so cool! 

On Saturday, we got up and went to breakfast at Brent's. This is the diner where the girls eat lunch.

After a quick tour around downtown Jackson, it was time to head home. It was a very nice trip and I am so glad that i got to finally see my bother's house.

Fill In The Blank Friday (on Saturday)

1.  My bedtime routine includes: take a bath/shower...put on pajamas...watch a little TV or check blog/facebook/Pinterest...eat some fruit...brush my teeth...take my bc...put on moisturizer.... put lotion on my feet....get in bed...go to sleep.

2.   I am   not looking forward to going back to work in a week. I only have to work for 2 weeks and then it's summertime. I can't stand the thought of not being with Baby Sally those 2 weeks.

3.  I can't stand     Nascar      because    I can.

4. My idea of relaxation would be   a good book on the beach.

5. If I had an extra $50, I would    go to Target.

6. The best thing about a bloggy friend is    their encouragement

7.  A recipe I've been dying to try is   anything with salted caramel.
