Today I am once again linking up for 5 on Friday.

I am so excited that one of my favorite shows is back on...but its the last season....so this makes it bittersweet. Its a Sunday night tradition for Joe and I to watch it together.
I made us some chocolate fondue to ring in the first episode of the last season. It was so yummy!

Joe and I had a mini getaway last Friday night. We went to see Counting Crows and Toad the Wet Sprocket (two of my favorite bands growing up). The concert was great and it was nice to spend the night in a hotel. Sally stayed with a sweet family friend.
Mini getaways are good for the soul..so are delicious BLT's from Memphis BBQ Company!

Joe had an overnight trip to Portland last week and asked me if he wanted a doughnut from the famous VooDoo Doughnuts. Um...yes! I have seen this place on Travel Channel and knew I had to experience it. I had him get me the VooDoo one...they also offer lots of other crazy varieties. It was so delicious.

I guess its just a "toddler" thing but sometimes Sally is a great eater and other times...not so much! I love this idea of getting a variety of foods in her. This was her lunch one day last week. Its super easy...all you need is a ice cube tray. Here is what was in hers: sesame sticks, pears, blueberries, pretzels, cashews, avocado, strawberries, fruit loops, craisins, pecans, yogurt, carrots, chicken, banana chips, ham and pineapple.

I got crafty this week and made a burlap star for the front door. I used red/white striped and blue/white polka dot material and glued it on top of a burlap star. It was easy and I think it turned out cute.
That's all...we have a weekend filled with birthday parties, outdoor concerts and yummy treats. I love weekends like this :)
