Don't Judge Me...

I MAY or MAY NOT have bought some cute baby dresses yesterday.....what??!!
They were only 50 cents each!!

Rolling On The River

Last night we went downtown to Sunset Symphony. This is one of my favorite Memphis traditions and I look forward to it every year.

We met up with Debi and Darren and their sweet daughter, Sierra.

KC and the Sunshine Band provided musical entertainment and I couldn't help but think of this scene from one of my favorite movies when they played "Boogie Man"

Of course the night ended with some wonderful fireworks!

Happy Face!

A lot of you have written and asked me how I keep my skin looking so fresh and so clean, clean. Who am I kidding? No one has ever asked me that :) But, I do think I have pretty nice skin so I thought I would share my skincare regimen. I take my showers at night and I ALWAYS wash my face with Bliss Foaming Face Wash. I get it at Sephora and have been using it for years. Let me repeat...I ALWAYS wash my face. I never got o bed with make up on...yuck!

About every other day, I use Sea Breeze (Target brand), to remove excess oils. I have found that if I use this everyday, it dries my skin out.
I moisturize every night with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I have been using this since I was a pre-teen and my mother introduced me to to it. It's light enough to not make me break out, but works well at keeping my face moisturized.

In the mornings, I put on Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer with SPF. I decided that I am not really getting any younger, so I should probably start using an SPF everyday.

Once or twice a week, I will exfoliate using St. Ives Apricot Scrub...tried and true :)

A few times a month, I will up the exfoliating factor and use Origins Modern Friction.
Oh, and you can't forget to remove the 'stache :) Between waxings (or when I am being lazy), I will use Sally Hansen's Creme Hair Remover....works every time.

Dumpster Diving!!

So, I have decided that I will take a walk around my cute little neighborhood every morning. Not only is is great exercise, but it gives me a chance to have time for myself and to make my plan for the day. Imagine my surprise when on the way home, I saw THIS is someone's TRASH!! Yes people, it is a Le Creuset pot. I couldn't believe it. I have no shame when it comes to dumpster diving (been doing it ever since I was a child...really!). So, I picked that baby up and walked all the way home with it in my hands. Yes, I got some weird looks, but who cares! Sure it was dirty, but that was nothing my trusty little friend couldn't fix. If you do not have this stuff, get it. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I can't wait to see what future walks hold in store for me.

Can We Top It??

Last summer was pretty awesome! We FINALLY got the bench installed up at school in my moms memory. She would have loved it!We ventured up to Minnesota to see one of Joe's high school buddies get married. Look who I got to meet up with at the Mall of America...Esther!!
We renovated our master bathroom. It went from this:
to this...
We went and visited our friend, Craig at his family's home in the Hamptons. Look...me and Joe in front of Marth Stewart's house!!
We took a cruise out of San Juan, PR for our 3rd anniversary. Joe was a little unsure about the cruise, but he now says it is the most relaxing vacation that he has EVER had..period!
Girl's Weekend in the ATL!!

I wonder what the Summer of 2010 has in store for us...
