KidsTown Sneak Peeks!

Hey Girls!

I am so excited to share these KidsTown preview pics with you today. I shop this afternoon and I am beyond excited!! The ladies of KidsTown were so nice and let me come take pics this morning so that you could start making your shopping lists. There is TONS of stuff so no matter when you shop, there will be plenty for everyone. If you still want to try and shop early, there MAY be some volunteer shifts left. Give them at call at (901)569-5543.

If you are a new mom, this is a great place to stock up on equipment for yourself or your parents house. They have baby swings, highchairs, pack and plays galore.

I love the strap on space saving high chair!!

They also have some really nice bassinets. Look at the sweet wooden one. Love it!!

Changing tables too!

The boys clothes are at the back so make sure you head straight back there for the best deals. I saw a lot of great brands!

How Early Can I Shop?

There are several options to shop ahead of the public at KidsTown Memphis! Use the links in the table below to sign up for KT KREW and/or your chosen shopping time.

KT KREW Allstar	*Tuesday before public: 3:30pm *½ price sale on Saturday before public	Saturday FOLLOWING the sale, from 4pm till complete.
KT KREW Teammate	Tuesday before public: 5pm	Two 5 hour shifts, one during public sale
KT KREW Booster	Tuesday before public: 6:30pm	One 5 hour shift
KT KREW Dude	Tuesday before public: 5pm	Several options available, 6 hour shifts
Consignors	Wednesday before public: 3:30pm	register to consign here!
Grandparent/First Time Parent	Wednesday before public: 6:30pm	register here
Military Appreciation	Wednesday before public: 6:30pm	review instructions then come with valid military ID
Gotta Shop Now	Thursday before public: 9am	purchase your $10 pass here

Purchase a $10 pass to enter our KidsTown Event early before the public! You will shop at 9am, an hour before the doors open the public. Get your pass here!

KT Allstar

This shift is a physically strenuous shift and not recommended for those with physical limitations (such as back problems, expecting moms, etc.) Please make sure you are able to complete the entire shift before registering. You MUST stay for the entire shift. KidsTown will provide pizza and drinks for Krew members during this shift. Register here!

KT Teammate

Teammates help for two 5 hour shifts – these shifts can be consecutive, but at least one will be during the public sale. Register here!

KT Booster

Boosters help for one 5 hour shift – register here!

KT Dude

We need a few hard-working, strong, sturdy, healthy men to help!
We need you to help move or load large items, monitor the floor, checking receipts on large items at the door, etc.
If you are able to work this shift, your wife, sister, mother or female of your choice can shop the sale early! Register here!

Can't volunteer? No problem. The public sale starts on Thursday at 10 am. There will be plenty left!!

Now here are my tips on shopping at Kidstown:

*Get there early. You will be surprised how many people are there and in line when you arrive. The early bird gets the worm!

*Bring your own bag or basket. I thought the ladies pulling a laundry basket around were crazy. Now I do it too. I attach an old belt to a laundry basket. It's easy to fill up and drag around. If that's not your thing, bring a big reusable bag. IKEA makes the best ones!

*Make a list of what you need. Its very overwhelming shopping at consignment sales. There is so much to look at, its easy to get distracted. I like to keep a list on my phone of what we need and prioritize the areas of the sale that I will hit first.

*All sales are final, so look over each item for stains, tears, cracks, etc. 

*Try not to buy something just because it's a good deal. Put it all in your basket/bag and go back through it before you check out. Ask yourself "do I really love this/need this/etc.". If the answer is no, put it back.

*Bring a pen! Lots of the bigger items have special tags that you need to fill out, so a pen comes in handy.
