Sweet Sally,
The past year has been the happiest of my life. I cannot imagine life without you sweet girl! You bring a smile to my face every day and I am so thankful that God chose and trusted me to be your mama. You are so beautiful and smart and have the cutest personality. I cannot wait for all the memories that we are going to make. There are so many places that I want to take you to and things I want you to experience.
12 Month Stats
Weight: 18 lbs. 14.5 oz. (15th percentile)
Height: 28 inches (14th percentile)
You are just a "little bit" but the Dr. says you will probably just be petite your whole life. :)
We went to your cousin (Hazel's) baptism while Daddy was away and you wore a skirt for the first time. You also had some cake...which you LOVED!
You are wearing size 3 diapers and mostly size 9 month closes but also some 12 months. You wear size 2 shoes (if you would keep them on your feet naughty girl!)
You have been going everywhere in your walker and love to follow Mommy and Daddy around the house!
We celebrated your first birthday!!!
You love to bite Mommy's nose and then laugh about it. You also LOVE the bath!!! You always have so much to say and love to splash in the water.
We tried to have a photo shoot for your first birthday pictures and you were NOT interested at all. So fussy!!
Speaking of being fussy. Mommy finally let you "cry it out" when Daddy was out of town. It only took 2 nights and now you are FINALLY sleeping through the night. Yay!
You usually go to bed around 7:30 pm and wake up between 6:45-7:00 am.
You learned how to turn on your elephant toy and and also how to lift the flaps in your books. You want to read them over and over again so you can lift the flaps for Mommy. Other favorite toys include: your baby dolls, your shopping bag with groceries, your Zany Zoo cube, stacking cups, and your Hello Kitty rubber ball. I feel like we have toys in EVERY room!
You have switched from formula to whole milk and everything is going well so far. You have been drinking water out of your sippy cup and are still getting the hang of it. When you are finished you usually just throw it on the floor. You eat 3 meals a day and usually 1-2 snacks. You tried a lot of new foods this month and we also had you re-try some foods that you previously didn't like: potatoes, chicken and brownie pudding. Your favorites are still yogurt, green beans, crackers and bananas.
You love Mommy and Daddy to sing to you and play patty cake.
Still no walking on your own but you love walking in your "walker" and you love walking around while holding on furniture. You have been letting go while holding onto stuff and that makes Mommy nervous!

You cut your first tooth on the bottom. I thought it was a bubble in your mouth at bath time but no...you have your first tooth...sweet girl! You look so cute! I cried putting you to bed tonight. I love you so much and you are growing way too fast!
You had another double ear infection and stayed up all night being fussy....poor baby!
Here we are the the Dr.'s office. You are so silly!
