B Is For Brody

I drove up to Jackson, TN to meet baby Brody and see new mama Beth. Kristy drove from Nashville and we all met up. I loved baby Brody. He was so little and super cute. I was pretty much a natural!

Of course we had to take a group shot with the new little one. Kristy and I accidently wore the same dress...great minds think alike!

11 Weeks

*How far along?: 11 weeks!

*Total weight gain?: about 5 pounds

*How big is baby?: the size of a lime! That seems so much bigger than the prune last week!

*Sex: Won't know that until September! I think we are having a girl!

*Maternity clothes: I don't have to wear any yet, but things are getting TIGHT! I bought a few maternity shirts, a dress, and jeans this weekend.

*Stretch marks: Nope.

*Sleep: I slept really well this week. I am back to work and by the time I get home I am EXHAUSTED!! I am having the craziest, most vivid dreams....

*Best moment this week: I went to Jackson, TN to see Beth and Baby Brody.

*Movement: I'm sure he/she is moving...but I can't feel it!

*Food cravings: Peaches, Mexican, salsa, Firebirds BLT salad

*Labor signs: not for about 29 more weeks...

*Belly button in or out: in

*What I miss: Working out....I seriously haven't been to the gym in like 2 months. My goal is to go back to the gym this week....yeah....let's see how long I feel like that after my week back at school.

*What I'm looking forward to: We go to the Dr. on Friday and I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again!

What I Am NOT Loving Wednesday!

Today I have some things I am NOT loving....thought I would share....

A friend who was pregnant lost her baby. It is so unfair that the people who REALLY want kids have trouble and go through this and people who have NO BUSINESS having children have no problem at all. NOT FAIR!! I am praying for you, sweet friend!

Joe and I went on a date....to J Alexanders....and they TOOK MY FAVORITE SALAD OFF THE MENU!!! The Cypress salad is so yummy and what I ALWAYS get. I was so sad when they told me that the manager was trying some new dishes out. Um, bad idea! Until they bring my precious Cypress salad back, we will NOT be returning to J Alexanders!

I am NOT loving Nick and Vanessa and their whole wedding. Yes, it was nice but I like Nick and Jessica better. I knew it was probably a long shot, but I wanted Nick to run back to Jessica at the last minute. I wonder if Jessica watched and cried?

Have you seen these freaks! Seriously watch this video. It's a 16 year old married to a guy from LOST who is over 50!! She makes the strangest faces and is obviously on something....so disturbing!!

Joe and I watched these 2 movies this week.....I liked "I Am Number Four" but "Take Me Home Tonight"....not as much as I thought I would...

I am loving Dexter. Joe and I just got the first season on DVD through Blockbuster.com and we are officially addicted!

I am loving the fact that I got 2 packs of baby hangers for free at Babies R Us this week. I can't wait to start hanging up teeny tiny clothes.

I am loving that we got our beach house booked for my 30th birthday/Labor Day weekend trip. Here it is....she's a beauty Clark!
