I'm sitting here watching the new NBC show, STRONG, and already planning my "get healthy after baby strategy". I have been feeling pretty good but am ready to not have this extra weight on me. I cannot believe I am 33 weeks pregnant and that I will be having baby boy in a little over a month. That's just crazy! It seems like this pregnancy has just flown by. I have really been trying to enjoy it and savor the feelings and moments because this may be the last time I get to experience it.
The Best Things About Pregnancy:
*Not having to "suck it in"
When you are pregnant you are supposed to have a baby bump :)
*Feeling the baby move and kick
It is seriously an amazing thing that a tiny human is growing inside of me. I feel him moving the most when I lay down for bed at night. I know I will miss this a little bit when he is born.
*Nesting
Joe and I have been working hard to clean the house, the yard...everything. We have been using this time to finish up the projects that we have been wanting to finish and also starting a few new ones. I am super lucky to have a handy hubby who is always looking forward to the next DIY.
*Getting new baby stuff
A friend was selling her Halo baby bed and we jumped on it. I am excited to put Henry in this when he is sleeping in the room with us. Sally has been using it to put her babies to sleep.
I have also done a few crafts. One was this fabric covered wipes container for the diaper bag. I followed a tutorial on youtube and it was super easy.
I've been buying more baby clothes from a few girls I have met that share my same style when it comes to dressing little boys.
A local store hosted a baby shower for expectant mommies and they had the best favor bags. I love free stuff!
*Seeing my hubby play with Sally
He is seriously the best daddy.
And now for the Worst Parts About Pregnancy:
*Swollen Fingers
The wedding rings have come off :(
*Sleep
I was sleeping pretty well up until a few weeks ago. I am now taking Unisom (with my Dr's approval) and it has helped a lot. I have also experience restless arms and it sucks. I had it with Sally and the only thing that helps is hugging a heating pad. I am normally a side sleeper but I like to put a little pressure on my tummy so that has been an adjustment too.
*Working Out
Before I got pregnant, you could find me at the gym about 5 days a week. In the last few months, I am down to 1-2 times a week. By the time my class time comes around (5-5:30pm), I am just exhausted. I have also experience round ligament pain in my belly when I am doing Zumba so I when I am in that class, I have to stop jumping around so much. I already did some research and found out that the nursery at the gym takes babies when they are 8 weeks old and I am looking forward to getting back into the gym full time. Its just such a huge part of my daily life. I am also excited about starting my running again.
Other fun facts:
My current cravings consist of oranges (I eat 2-3 at a time), walnuts and soft ice (like from Sonic and Chick-fil-a).
I love my nightly baths while reading US Weekly and Country Living. Bath bombs from Lush are a treat :)
I am started to get winded from simple things like walking up a flight of stairs.

Girl, I'm right behind you at 31 weeks, so a lot of this sounds familiar. I took my ring off a while ago, because I was so worried about it getting stuck on my knuckle! I bought a couple of Lush bath bombs recently but have yet to use them... magazines in the bath sound perfect. :-)
It's weird to think that it could be the last time being pregnant... but it is something to think about and to try and savor every pregnant moment. Can't wait for you to meet your little man!
