I spent the first of the month decorating the house for Halloween. Here are a few pictures.
I also made Sally a few spooky lunches.
We also started wearing some of our Halloween clothes...why not right?!
We made caramel apples and watched a bunch of our favorite spooky movies and shows.
The weekend before Halloween, Sally woke up and had a spooky breakfast and that night we attended Zoo Boo. She had a ball!
On Thursday, Sally had her party at school. She woke up and told me she wanted to be a ballerina, so that is what she was. We sent in mummy treats for her classmates, soap for her teachers and she also got a spooky lunch.
That night we carved pumpkins. Sally really wanted a My Little pony pumpkin so Joe did his best :)
Sally was a little more hesitant this year about pulling out the pumpkin guts.
The Friday night before Halloween we attended Trick or Treating at Fed Ex. The girls had so much fun!!
After that we changed costumes and headed over to the Germantown Halloween Festival.
On Halloween night we had some friends over for chili and trick or treating. It had rained all day so I was worried we wouldn't be able to go out but the rain quit just in time and we had a blast!
I just love doing all the "extra" fun stuff when it comes to holidays. I love doing it and Sally loves getting to experience it :)
