A few weeks ago my dad and I took Sally downtown to see The Wizard of Oz at The Orpheum (a historic theatre here in Memphis). Joe was supposed to come too but he ended up having to work. I knew I was going to take her a few months ago so of course I had to order her a special dress to where. This one came from etsy from BabyChiquesBoutique and it is the cutest Dorothy dress I have seen. Its so well made too. I ordered Sally's Alice in Wonderland dress from this same shop. I got the "ruby slippers" from Target and the toto in a basket was left over from way back when when I dressed like Dorothy one year for Halloween after Joe and I first got married (he was a flying monkey!!).
Sally was so excited to get dressed. I told her we were going to the big girl movies ;)
Once we got to the Orpheum, they had a little station set up where you could add a brick with your name on it to their "yellow brick road".
Sally did so well at the movie. The whole audience hissed whenever the witch came on the screen and she loved doing it too.
I love making these special memories with my girl ;)
