About a week ago, I decided to set up a cute and vintage "Back to School" mantle. I love the way it turned out. I used old flashcards, a globe, vintage marbles and blocks....it was fun!
We made cookies for her new teachers and packaged them up all cute. We hope her sweet teachers love them.

I got free printables from I Heart Naptime. Find the link here.

Of course I had to get a printable for Sally to hold. Do you know how hard it is to find one that says anything about going to a 2 year old pre-school class...yeah..its impossible. Luckily, Leslie from Lambert's Lately was so sweet and emailed me a copy of the one she made. I put it in a frame and had Sally hold it :)
She was so excited for school this morning. She even squealed..."SCHOOOOL!" when we drove up. Once we were inside and she saw all the parents and kids, she got a little nervous. She was clutched on to Joe like a little spider monkey :) Once we got into her room and she saw all the toys, she was good.
She had a great day...but came home with a scratch on her face from another girl in class....goodness!
We celebrated the first day of school with a indoor picnic consisting of nuggets, strawberries, grapes, carrots, cucumber and hummus...and a gummy worm for dessert.
School wiped her out...she was so ready for bed. Here is hoping for an awesome year! I am so thankful that she is able to attend MDO at such an amazing school and that she loves it so much.

Glad she had a good first day despite getting scratched on the face! That's no fun! Love all the pictures and love the printable.
