This Week's Happenings

{one}
We are heading to Minnesota next week :) We are visiting Joe's family and also attending a good friends wedding. We have some fun things planned!!

{two}
I took Sally to a local cheer gym last week. They have open gym twice a week for $5. She loved jumping on the trampoline and into the huge foam pit. We will for sure be going back.

{three}
Our house is covered in Disney and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's so fun to see these things around the house and have a reminder that our trip is coming up soon. The countdown is officially on. If you are into the whole "disney" thing, follow my other blog here.  I will be sharing a bunch of tips/tricks, special things we are doing to get us ready for our trip and some giveaways too.

Our Magic Bands arrived and I decorated them with decals from My Fantasy Bands.

{four}
I did something crazy and joined Skinny Meg's Diet Bet. It was a $25 bet and I have to loose 4% of my body weight by Sept 22...to basically before we leave for Disney. I have already lost 3 pounds!

{five}
I finally carted a Sweet Honey dress yesterday. I was so excited!

Sally's fall wardrobe is coming together. I still need some brown cowgirl boots for her. Any rec's?

Back to School

About a week ago, I decided to set up a cute and vintage "Back to School" mantle. I love the way it turned out. I used old flashcards, a globe, vintage marbles and blocks....it was fun!

We made cookies for her new teachers and packaged them up all cute. We hope her sweet teachers love them.

I got free printables from I Heart Naptime. Find the link here

Of course I had to get a printable for Sally to hold. Do you know how hard it is to find one that says anything about going to a 2 year old pre-school class...yeah..its impossible. Luckily, Leslie from Lambert's Lately was so sweet and emailed me a copy of the one she made. I put it in a frame and had Sally hold it :)

She was so excited for school this morning. She even squealed..."SCHOOOOL!" when we drove up. Once we were inside and she saw all the parents and kids, she got a little nervous. She was clutched on to Joe like a little spider monkey :) Once we got into her room and she saw all the toys, she was good.

She had a great day...but came home with a scratch on her face from another girl in class....goodness!

We celebrated the first day of school with a indoor picnic consisting of nuggets, strawberries, grapes, carrots, cucumber and hummus...and a gummy worm for dessert.

School wiped her out...she was so ready for bed. Here is hoping for an awesome year! I am so thankful that she is able to attend MDO at such an amazing school and that she loves it so much.

It's Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus

Maybe it was the cooler weather a few weeks ago. Maybe it was because I burned my Leaves candle from Bath and Body Works. Whatever it was, I am officially ready for fall weather. And with Fall weather comes one of my favorite things....

I'm talking about the greatest Halloween family friendly movie ever...Hocus Pocus. I can remember going to see it in the theater with a friend and thinking Max was soooo cute!

Today I want to share all things Hocus Pocus with you.

I love this chalkboard from Little Baby Garvin. I think doing this would totally put me in the mood for all things spooky.

The Dating Divas have a Hocus Date Night complete with printables.

I love these Etsy finds:

Love these free printables!

Did you know that there was a 20th Anniversary last year? Did Hocus Pocus really come out 20 years ago?!

{details here}

I may be slightly obsessed with this t-shirt. (I may have put it on my birthday list!)

and this one too
{here}

It MAY be on my Bucket List to go to Salem in the Fall and visit the filming locations. See more info here.

Did you know there is even a Hocus Pocus drinking game?

I love Buzzfeed's list "25 Reasons Hocus Pocus is the Best Halloween Movie of All Time".

I love that you can download the soundtrack here for free. You are welcome!

Alright, ready to have your mind blown? Check out this link of things you didn't know about Hocus Pocus.

Are you as crazy for Hocus Pocus as me?

My Craft Room Redo

Summer Adventure Catch Up

Summer is winding down for the Moske's. Sally starts back to MDO next week. We get to go meet her teachers tomorrow and see her classroom. We have done some back to school shopping and someone got a new backpack. Backstory...got the backpack from Zulily and wanted it with a regular interlocking monogram. they sent me this.

Um...yeah...looks nothing like the monogram they were advertising. After complaining and Zulily telling me that the vendor sent them the wrong picture, they refunded me and let me keep the backpack fro free. I wish it was the other monogram but I'll keep this one since its free.

I wanted to do a wrap up of some of our activities for the last few weeks.

Sally loves going to the playground and is now fearless coming down the slides. It makes mama nervous!

We made ice cream sundaes.

We worked in the yard.

We have been playing for hours at a time and there is lots of dress up involved.

Sally especially loves when Daddy gets in on the action.

There have been several pool days.

We may have a future cheerleader on our hands :)

We have been to several Levitt Shell concerts...Sally loves them!

Lots fo snuggles with mommy and daddy...

We took Sally downtown to see the Peabody Ducks do their daily march through the lobby. It was packed!

We celebrated Poppy's birthday :)

We took Sally to get snow cones at Jerry's. Its a Memphis institution and rite of passage.

She pretty much is obsessed with snow cones and keeps asking for them everyday.

We had a do date with Caroline, Cameron and Faison. Sally fed the giraffes for the first time and loved every minute of it.

We have been to a few family get togethers.

We made cookies for Daddy ;)

This summer has been so much fun!!
