Henry {2 Months}

Weight: 10 lb 8oz. (up from his 5lb 7oz birth weight)

Here is Henry's birth announcement. I love the way it turned out!!

Sleep: This is one area we we have improved greatly!! Henry goes to bed around 10-11pm and then usually wakes up between 3-4am for a feeding. Then he sleeps until about 6-6:30, eats again and then  will usually pass out for another hour. He is still napping on and off during the day but we are trying to get him on more of a nap schedule next month. 

Daily Routine: Not much a routine yet. It's pretty much, eat, play and sleep with a poop thrown in every now and then. LOL

Feeding:  Henry is drinking 4 ounce bottles every 2-3 hours during the day. 

Diaper Size: Pampers Swaddlers Size 1

Clothes Size: 0-3 Months (the newborn stuff is pretty much too small)

Hair color: Brown

Eye Color: Dark Blue

Celebrated first 4th of July!!

Shop Kidstown Consignment!

Today I want to tell you all about the biggest consignment sale in Memphis. It's Kidstown and I have been shopping and consigning with them for a few years now.  If you haven't been before, it can be a little overwhelming. It's HUGE!! My best advice is to go in with a plan. Bring a laundry basket with a belt attached so you can pull out along.  If you see something you like, grab it and put in your basket. You can go through everything on a rack before you check out.

I was lucky enough to get in today to take preview pics and you won't believe all the great finds! I'll let the pictures do the talking.

The past 2 months have been wonderful with two kids...but also very tiring. I think we tend to block out the sleepless nights when deciding to have another baby lol. As much as I would like to say we could possibly have 3 kids, I know that is simply not the case.  I feel so very blessed to have two beautiful and healthy children and I now know that Henry has completed our family.

I'm excited that the next few months have me doing a lot of traveling. Disneyland in August, Disney World in September and now this:

We have been invited to our good friends wedding...in the Hamptons! We are heading up there for a long weekend in October and I am so excited. Little man is staying with the bestie and Sally is going to come with us. Its been about 7 years since we were up there last and I cant wait to explore the area with her. 

We are going to stay a few extra days in the city and have some fun things planned. 

Thanks to Joe's Hilton points, we are staying at the super swanky and historic Waldorf Astoria!! I'm hoping to hit up the Empire State Building, Staten Island Ferry, the huge Toys R Us (so very sad they  closed FAO Schwartz!), Serendipity, Central Park, etc. Its going to be so fun!!

Oh and I maybe booked a Disney cruise for fall of 2017 last week too!

I am so very excited for the kickoff of my MOPS group. I am the craft coordinator again this year and already have so many fun things planned. We had our retreat last weekend and it was a blast seeing all my sweet friends and planning for the year.

I started back with my running a few weeks ago thanks to a Women's Walk/Run program here in town. Of course I'm running with my favorite running buddy (cousin/friend Meredith). I will say that it is SO hot. Why can't they do this program in the fall or winter. Anyways, between running and going back to my dance classes at the gym, I have lost 5 pounds. I have been doing weight watchers but honestly havent been following it as closely as I should. Still, every week the scale goes down a little....so I'll take it!!

Joe got a new truck! He pretty much had this same one but it wasn't as big and was pretty cramped holding two carseats in the back. My poor knees were right up against the dashboard (not safe!) to make room for Henry behind me.

Recent Purchases That I LOVE!!

I wanted to share some recent purchases that I love with y'all. No I didn't get any of these for free. I just really do like them!!

First up, have you been to Hobby Lobby lately? They have really stepped up their game!! I will say that its a little sad to see them almost copying some of the small businesses that I love so much, but I do love the cheaper price. I got this sign and its perfect. Its hanging on the stairs near our front door. 

Next up, we have the Chuck Taylor "shoreline" sneakers. I have the regular ones but these are slip on and much more comfy. Get them here.

I first bought this in white but immediately went back and purchased the black and red ones too!

These fringe hoop earrings are so cute and go with everything! Get them here.

When I saw these shoes, I knew they would be perfect for our Disney trips.

I have been asked a lot where I got the tassel on my bag that I carry a lot. Its from Thailand and you can get it on etsy. I will say that its important to request what color elephant you want and also what color you want the tassels to be. Find it here.
