Recent Happenings

Life has been busy here over at the Moske house. Sally is about to start back to MDO and we are in full force getting ready for all of our fall traveling coming up....Minnesota, the beach and DISNEY!! I am working with some really great Etsy and Facebook shops to share the cutest Disney things and they have so generously given me items to review. We are getting stocked up and ready to go! I have been in a mood where I am switching things up in our house. I took everything off the shelf in the living room and redid it.

It was a sad day last week...I sold Sally's bedding and cried like a blubbering baby. I'm ok now...but it was hard to let it go!

MOPS starts back this week and I am so excited!! If you are local and want to join us this year, let me know and I can send you the details. 

We had breakfast for dinner last week and did it up right...mimosas!!

We had some friends over for dinner and I made the Pioneer Woman's Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp. It was soooo yummy. Make sure you have some fresh French bread to sop up all the buttery goodness!

Joe is out of town in training all week. We have kinda been driving each other coo-coo this past week...but I love this boy so much...especially when he leaves us sweet notes.

Recent Purchases :)

Y'all I have been in a buying mood lately and the deals have been coming! I am so excited about these recent purchases I have made for Sally to wear next summer. 

Summer Adventures Week 9

Somehow I forgot to publish last weeks summer adventures, so I will be sharing pictures from both weeks.

We went to Brody's Birthday Party...

these two kissed...ON THE LIPS!!

Someone was VERY excited when her Elsa dress came in the mail. She has been singing "Let it Go" nonstop!

We had a date night with friends at Chiwawa! in Overton Sqaure. Sally was being quite the ham and insisted on sitting in the booster seat...on the ground.

I ordered a pork and a shrimp taco. They were both good but I wasn't overly impressed with the restaurant. There were flies everywhere on the patio and our server was slow.  I will stick with getting my tacos at Las Delicias.

The girls had fun!

After dinner, we walked down to the candy store and let Sally get a few gummy worms...she of course ate them in about 2 seconds!

On the way home, we drove through our favorite neighborhood and someone was throwing away this dollhouse. Its missing pretty much all the furniture but Sally was so excited!

We had a day date to Chick-fil-a. Sally did not want to share the lemonade.

Sally has been really stubborn and has been testing me lately...its frustrating...but when I get a cute picture like this...I forget it all.

We have been playing a lot of dress up!

We took swim lessons last week. Sally did great! 

Daddy came to watch us on the last day.

We spent the day at the zoo.

We also painted sparkle toes :)

Random Thoughts on a Tuesday

I ordered this dress for Sally from a Facebook co-op. It may be her birthday dress...or I may just use it as a everyday dress. Either way, its precious!

I finally was able to get a Sweet Honey dress for Sally. The carting is crazy but my cousin, Meredith, got it for us last week while we were at swimming lessons. I am so excited!

Joe has started making these arrows and is selling them. They are $15 and $12 :) Let me know if you want one. We havent figured out shipping yet...so local only for now.

It makes my heart sad, but I am selling Sally's bedding. I am asking $300 and that includes the bumper, skirt and 2 changing pad covers. Let me know if you are interested.

We are also selling our queen size Pottery Barn duvet cover. We got a king size bed, so we had to size up. Its the Sienna and is on sale online for $109, so I am asking $60.

On a thrifting adventure last week, I found this old school chalkboard for $10. I have no idea where I am going to put it, but I knew I NEEDED it :)

How cute are these lace shoes from wal-mart? I have been wearing them everywhere!!

This was a craft I did last week. Its an oatmeal container covered with scrapbook paper. It makes the perfect headband holder!
