THE MONKEY BITE....

heard 'round the world!! So we are just walking down a path on Koh Phi Phi island when we see a cute little monkey tied up to a hut. So, Joe goes over and starts petting it and holding its hand when all of the sudden, it jumps up and grabs Joe's prescription strength Ray Ban sunglasses....EXPENSIVE!!! Every time Joe tries to get the glasses back, the monkey tries to bite him. He actually DID bite him on the stomach. We would have never gotten the glasses back if it wasn't for my quick thinking and Joe's quick ninja skills. I distracted the monkey with a water bottle and Joe grabbed the glasses back.

Koh Phi Phi

As soon as our flight landed in Phuket, we hopped in a Taxi....where I proceeded to get very car sick. They drive CRAZY over there!! We took the taxi to the dock where the boat to Koh Phi Phi was at. As soon as I got on the boat, I felt the swaying of the ocean and then got SEA SICK!! After I threw up I felt MUCH BETTER!! Here I am acting it out. When we got to the island, we met up with some friends and hung out on the beach for a while. The views were beautiful!!

We made it to Thailand!!

We finally made it to the right country after 2 days of traveling. Here is am with my Thai treats...BBQ Lay's and Sprite! After spending the night in the Bangkok airport, we finally took a flight to Phuket on Air Asia....fun!

Journey to the other side of the Earth....

We finally started our journey to the other side of the Earth. We got upgraded to business class (thanks to Joe's smooth talking). Our plane was HUGE!! It was 2 stories tall. Joe got a chance to sit in the pilot's seat while we were stuck on the tar mat for 3 HOURS!!!

Stuck In Chi-town....

Joe and I started our Thai adventure by getting stuck for a night in Chicago. We tried to make the best of it. We got a room at the airport Hilton and took the train down to Michigan Avenue to Tiffany and Co. for me to get a new key chain. Then we had some delicious Chicago deep dish pizza at "Giordano's".

Happy Birthday Baby Linz!!

For Lindsey's birthday we went with a group to The Melting Pot. It was delicious and really fun! Look at all of the steam coming up from the fondue!! Happy Birthday Lindsey!!

A Taste of the Islands...

I went to a "Girls Night Out" Viking cooking class in March. The theme was "Islands". I love the restaurant "Bahama Breeze", so I couldn't wait to make some "island" food of my own. It was soooo yummy!! We made :
