We had some family pictures done a few months back and I realized I never shared them on the blog. I knew we would use one for Christmas cards but I also wanted to get some of Sally too. She is super into Alice in Wonderland so I had to get some themed pictures. These pictures were taken by Jennifer Davenport Photography. She is super talented!! Enjoy!

Five on Friday
{one}
I decided to rearrange Sally's room a few weeks ago....just to see how I like it. It seems like it is probably going to stay like this. I feel like we have more wall space. Next up, changing and moving artwork. I also want to get a new bedside table that has better storage.
One little project I did in about 15 minutes..making her stool cute. My little bit uses this stool to get up into her big girl bed so making it cute was super fun!
I used a stool we already had and some scrapbook paper that is made by Heather Bailey (same designer that did fabric for bed and tee-pee). I modged podged it on...I love the way it turned out!

Sally has loved helping me "cook" in the kitchen lately. She insists on getting a chair and climbing on top so she can see and help me pour the ingredients in. I found this hat and apron set for her in the closet when I was cleaning. It was a gift I got when I was pregnant. She loves wearing it!
{three}
Did anyone watch The Bachelor on Monday? I was so excited. Its a little treat for me on Monday nights. I take my hot bath, put on my pajamas and curl up in the bed to watch the craziness. It looks like it will be a good season!
{four}
I am in full birthday planning mode over here. I decided to have a pink, mint and gold party several months ago and have been collecting supplies. I ordered invitations, the cake and a party dress for Sally this week. So excited!
I also made one of the ever so popular tassel banners....so fun!
{five}
Sally has been so full of personality lately. She is just talking up a storm and there is even some sassiness...we are trying to put her in her place but its kinda funny....trying not to laugh when some of the things come out of her mouth.
Cheers to a weekend. Its cold here in Memphis but we are about to get a heck of a lot colder. We are heading up to Minnesota next week...pray for us!

Christmas Eve and Day
We had such a fun Christmas....all the Elf Shenanigans, Advent activities, holiday baking, watching movies, wrapping presents, doing crafts....so much fun!! Sally was so excited about everything and I loved seeing it all through her eyes.
We baked so many yummy treats the day before Christmas and then drove around delivering them to sweet friends. Here is the platter that I prepared to bring to Christmas Eve dinner.
After Sally woke up from her nap, we went out into the front yard and I let Sally spread out her reindeer food that we had made.
We headed over to my Aunts house for food, family time and presents.
Sally and Poppy
Sally racked up with several presents including a Queen Elsa tiara and wand and a Frozen pillow which she is now obsessed with. She was up way too late and had eaten way too much sugar when I took this picture.
When we got home I realized that we hadn't gotten a family picture yet. I tried to get a picture of Sally in front of the tree and she was bouncing off the walls.
Sally with Daddy
Sally and Mommy
We put on our Elf pajamas and left out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
She was so excited and told us she was going to stay up and see Santa. We had to keep reminding her that Santa wouldn't come unless she was sleeping.
After a reading of The Night Before Christmas, she was asleep and it was time for the elves to get busy. Joe started by tasting the cookies for Santa.
Then we set out all of the unwrapped presents that Santa was bringing and all of the stocking stuff. Joe and I then got in bed and watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
I was so excited for her to wake up. We ended up waking her up around 9am because we knew we had such a busy day ahead of us. She was so excited to run in and see her dollhouse. She loved it so much and couldn't believe it was hers!
Then I took a break from picture taking but she opened up all of her presents and was so excited about each one. Here she is with her Elsa doll.
We managed to make quite the mess with wrapping paper and boxes!
I wanted to take a picture of all of Sally's gifts :) She got a dollhouse, umbrella, stuffed dumbo, play ice cream set, 2 dvd's 2 princess nightgowns, a flashlight, a little mermaid dress up outfit, a baby doll high chair, a baby doll feeding set, house shoes, a frozen plate, a rapunzel tower playset, a puzzle, a Elsa doll and a treehouse playset with two little animal families.
Here is what was in her stocking: play-doh, Frozen soup, Frozen necklace and bracelets, Frozen Pez, Frozen stickers...can you see a trend here?! She also got a minnie, princess lip smackers, colored chalk, mini m&m's, hello kitty toothbrush, Ariel bubble bath, hello kitty stamps, etc.
Joe made me the sweetest sign as one of my gifts. He was so proud of it and I just love it so much!
He also got me my Home Alone inspired doormat that I have had my eyes on for a few years.
Here is what he put in my stocking. He did such a great job!!
Sally had so much fun playing with her toys. I had to get a turkey in the oven and then we went over to my Dad's to open gifts. Sally got a bitty baby with accessories and also some princess dress up shoes.
By the time we got back from Dad's, it was 1pm and people were coming over at 4. I put Sally down for a nap and Joe and I ran around the house...cleaning, putting things away, cooking. It was crazy but we somehow pulled it off and hosted Christmas dinner for my mom's side of the family. We also played a mean game of poker...and I won!
It was an awesome time with the best family! I'm already excited about Christmas next year!
Figgy's Final Antics!
Figgy was pretty busy on her last few days with us.
Playing with lights in the bathroom.
Bringing us a leg lamp
Putting toilet paper on the tree.
Holding baby Jesus
Bringing doughnuts
And making her final exit until next year... see you in next December Figgy!!

2015 Goals
I always like a new year. It always feels like a fresh start...the perfect time to make changes and be the person you want to be. Here are the things that I am going to be working on in 2015.
*I really want to continue to help Sally grow in her relationship with God. We are constantly talking about right/wrong and talking about stories from the bible but I am excited to start these daily devotionals with her.
*I really want to make sure that I put Joe first...even before Sally which is hard to do. I truly believe that your husband should come before your kids...even though its hard sometimes. Think about it, he was the love of your life until your kids came...that shouldn't change. We are going to attempt at least one date night a month and at least 2 small trips...just the two of us.
*I am already planning the next trip to Disney. We are going in September!!
*Learn to shoot the gun...this is something that I really need to do.
*Make an emergency binder and start collection supplies.
*Work on my meal planning
*Get a facial and a blowout...can you believe I have never gone in for a blowout?!
*Get myself to the gym 4-5 times a week
*Learn how to decorate cookies. Although I consider myself to be a really good baker, I want to master the art of cookie decorating.
*Get our will made
*Continue to work on my sewing skills
*Work on my meal planning. I think it will make weeknights less stressful and more healthy....maybe it will also cut down my daily trips to the grocery store!
What are your goals in 2015?
