Fill In the Blank Friday

1. The most selfless thing I've ever done was maybe having a maybe?...we will see.

2. When it comes to working out I go in spurts. I love kickboxing class but put my gym membership on hold until after the baby comes. I am training for the 1/2 marathon on December. I will be walking :).

3. A woman should always be independent and know what she wants to do with her life.

4. I wish I could sew and then I'd make a lot of cute clothes for Baby Sally .

5. A best friend is someone you can tell anything to .

6. I can't get enough of Dexter....love it!

7. This weekend I am thrifting and painting .

Flashback Friday

Today's Flashback Friday is from several years ago when Joe and I went to St. Martin with a group of friends.
We stayed at an all-inclusive resort right on the beach and we were only there for 3 days, but it was so amazing!

Good times!

Thoughtful Thursday

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am loving this rug from Urban Outfitters....for the nursery. It is hard to find one to match the colorful bedding that we have. This one is smaller than I want, (5x7) but it's the best one I have found so far....will probably be ordering soon. I am up for suggestions though :)
Joe and I went to Home Depot last night and picked out the paint color for the nursery. We looked at all brands and tried to find the exact right one...well we found it and it was a Disney color of all things...how fitting right? A Disney color for a girl who LOVES Disney World?! It's called Pooh's Favorite Things.
I worked a super fun event last week. Feed The Soul....one word, AWESOME! Go next year!
I just renewed my subscription to Country Living....for $5!!

Nursery Craftiness

I have been thinking a lot about different projects that I want to do in the nursery.

First up...the walls. We will need something over the crib and also over the changing table. Here are some things that I am loving:

*Lots of colorful picture frames clustered together

*I also like the look of the different prints in the white frames. I think they will look really pretty up against the aqua walls.

Next we have the mobile over the crib.

*I have no idea why these are underlined....oh well.....I like these mobiles and think they would be easy to make myself.

I know we are doing a chandelier. I have always envisioned my little girl having a chandelier in her nursery.

This is a made over $39 dollar IKEA Chandelier....not bad.
Here it is in the silver it comes in. I will be picking one of these up at IKEA when we go for Thanksgiving. I also like that old picture frame that is painted...Joe likes it too. I am sure it will make an appearance somewhere in the room.

I plan on making some of these cute clothespins to use with the old picture frame. We plan to attch some wire and hang pictures from the clothespins.

We have a space JUST like this in the nursery....between the closet and the door. I would love to do something like this.
or this

I like this...letters on different papers/fabric and then put into a bright frame.
Cute lamp....I am going to look for an old one that I can spray paint white at the thrift shop.

Love the fabric covered wipe box....
I know I want to make some closet dividers. I know I can get these in Minnesota at Crate and Barrel. Then, I can cover them with cute paper.

I can also get these wooden door hangers at HobLob and make them soon.
Joe and I both LOVE this look....an old vintage frame painted a bright color and then a "S" in the middle for Sally.

My MIL is pretty crafty, so I am going to try and convince her to make some pillows like this for the chair.

21 Weeks!

*How far along?: 21 weeks...over halfway there!
*How big is your baby?: About the size of a banana...weighing close to 1lb!
*Total weight gain?: I'm guessing still around 10 pounds...maybe a few more. We will find out next week.
*Sex: GIRL!!! Sally O'Mally Moske
*Maternity clothes: all maternity pants...most of my regular shirts are getting too short!
*Stretch marks: None yet!
*Sleep: Great...I've been pretty tired!
*Best moment this week: picking out paint colors, coming home to find work done on the nursery, getting the cutest baby gift from Beth (and TONS of other stuff), seeing my girls this past weekend.
*Movement: yup....she moves a lot during the day...especially after the students give me hugs. I think she likes that.
*Food cravings: ice cream, fruit, water with a lot of lemon, Mexican food
*Labor signs: hopefully not for a long time...
*Belly button in or out: in
*What I miss: nothing right now....except for my energy.
*What I'm looking forward to: Continuing the work on the nursery and starting to paint the walls. We also get to go to Dr. next week and see Sally again!

Nursery Progress

After a lot of cleaning, the guest room went from this:

to this. Joe was very busy this weekend when I was out of town. He will be painting the bottom white and the walls a pretty blue...going with either a light Tiffany blue or an aqua :) It's coming along though and seeming more real now.
