It's Been a Pink and Green Kinda Day

In my previous post you will see that I was super lucky and won the cutest apron this morning. Well, let the luckiness continue. This awesome Liberty of London tote showed up on my doorstep today courtesy of UPS. I won it from Lucky magazine...maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket?I also struck the jackpot when I scored these two pink and green cuties. I NEEDED a new lunch box, so imagine my excitement when I spied this one at the Pottery Barn Outlet...don't be jealous! So what if it's a kids lunch box? It's pink and green and that's enough for me :)

I also SWOONED when I found this planner at Target. Pink, green AND polka dots??!! I was in heaven!! I have already started writing all my important dates in it...I love planners!!

I also managed to make some cupcakes for a birthday party...check em' out!

Menu Monday

Thursday: Date Night!! Joe and I are going to see Hairspray at Playhouse on the Square and will grab dinner before somewhere in Midtown.

Saturday: We are flying....yes, you read that right, FLYING to Sikeston, MO to eat at Lambert's.

4th of July Goodies

This is what I made for 4th of July using my handy dandy 3 tiered galvanized stand from PB. I dressed it up with red and blue ribbon and handmade pinwheels accented with a red rhinestone.

Remember that red and white striped apron I bought at the $1 Store yesterday....yup, I cut it up and made little liners for 3 mini galvanized pails (bought in the $1 spot at Target last year). The pails had cherries and watermelon slices in them.

I printed off some free cupcake toppers from the internet and cut them out using a scalloped punch.

I also made cupcakes, brownies and banana pudding shooters!

$1 Store Haul!

Look at my goodies from the $1 Tree yesterday....a white wash tub, letter stencils, a red and white checked paper apron, and red and white kitchen towels....aren't you curious what I have in store for all of these goodies?! It didn't take me long to get started....I needed a place to store all the tops to my pots and pans.

Hanky says, "Mummy, why is this cabinet soooo messy?"

What team are you?

Joe and I went on a double date with Lindsey and Nick on Friday. We ate dinner at Humdinger's...yuuuummm!! and then saw ECLIPSE!! Lindsey and I had to take a picture in front of the picture just like we did for New Moon.

The boys were SUPER embarassed but we made them do a "wolf pose" :)

The movie was awesome!!

Vesta Home Show

Joe and I went to the Vesta Home Show this past weekend. These homes were built right behind my parents house and while I didn't want to like them...I did. All of the homes were nice, but some were more our style than others. Joe says to focus on the house, but I like to also look at the furniture and decorations. So here are my favorites :)

I noticed A LOT of burlap...hmm....looks like I've known what was hip for a long time :)

This wall of windows led to a beautiful patio.
