Five On Friday

Its Friday and we are less than a week from our Disney trip. This weekend is going to involve friends, more Halloween decorating and starting to pack for the happiest place on Earth!!

 {one}
I couldn't wait any longer and had to start decorating to Halloween. I was a little shocked when I pulled everything out of the attic and realized I had 4 tubs of stuff!

I plan to do a whole house tour once everything is up but here are a few sneak peeks.

Wreaths on my two doors.

Baby girl helped me plant!

Pumpkins and mums and crates on my!!

Target has had there game on y'all! So many cute items in the $1 and $3 area! I swear every time I go there are new items.

We busted out all my halloween books...the perks to being a former teacher....lots of books!!

I also decided to set up a bunch of potions and jars...there are some cute labels on line for free. Its a work in progress but here is a sneak peek.

{two}
We leave for Disney in less than a week and I have started pulling Sally's outfits out and planning what days she will wear what. I also put each outfit into a big ziplock bag with day on it.

{three}
Sally started tap and ballet this week and she was so excited. She looked so precious in her dance outfit!!

{four}
I never shared my birthday gifts so here we go. My dad got me a new Tory Burch wallet (my old wallet was so old and junky) and a Hocus Pocus pillow cover!

Joe got me this amazing sign from etsy. I cannot wait to see it up in the house. It has my favorite hymn on it.

{five}
One of my goals this year was to read daily scriptures with Sally. I love this book and that it is something we both look forward to everyday.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Here are my purchases :)

I was also super excited about this Minnie light up spinner for our Disney trip!!

Back to School With Carter's

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carter’s. I received a complimentary gift card to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.

Yes. You read that correctly! I got hooked up with a Carter's gift card to go "back to school" clothes shopping for Sally. Carter's is one of my favorite kids stores so I was pretty excited to get to shop for free!

Sally started preschool this week so I knew it was time to get some back to school clothes that are not only totally cute but also durable and can stand up to all the playing she will be doing.

I am so thankful to Carter's for giving me this opportunity. Not only did I get to pick out fun, new, colorful outfits for Sally but this was also her first "big girl" shopping trip. I really talked it up so she was pretty excited to go shopping with Mommy. I told her she was going to help me pick out some cute clothes.

One thing I really love about Carter's is that the clothes are super affordable...especially with all the sales and coupons! Carter's always has a huge assortment of colorful and easy outfit sets, coordinated collections and ready for play shorts and tees for babies and kids.

Sally was so excited to go shopping!

Of course she wanted to carry the bag around!

I loved seeing all the fresh styles for fall! The colors are so

 modern and happy!

I loved seeing the Halloween stuff that they had out!

These dresses were super cute!! Perfect to wear now but they will also look precious this fall layered up with a denim jacket and boots.

Sally thought she needed some socks ;)

We got a whole bag full of stuff. Sally wanted to carry it out to the car.

Here is what we got:

A super cute red/coral dress

A precious floral dress...these seem to be so on trend right now.

I just about died when I saw this dress with the colorful and modern llama necklace...yes you read that right...they had a llama necklace!! Of course we had to get that. We love accessories in this house!

Of course we had to get pajamas. Sally needs a good night sleep before her busy days at school.

These princess ones are so, so cute!!

I also thought she probably needed these skeleton ones..perfect for Halloween!

Here she is trying on her outfits at home.

Carters has a great Labor Day Sale going on now through Sept 7. Its 50% or more off the entire store!! They also have several doorbusters: $12 for a 5 pack bodysuit, $9 for 2 pack of pants and $10 Turn Me Around sets.
