Happy Easter weekend everyone! Ours was jam packed of fun! Here is how it all went down.
First I need to show you the cute lunches I made for Sally this week at school.
I also made some happies for her teacher and friends at school.
And I built a beautiful flower box for the dining room.
After school I went to bootcamp and when I picked her up from the kids area, she was a little bunny. They had painted on a nose and whiskers :)
Joe's mom and stepdad came in town on Friday and we went to dinner at Hueys (a local burger place). On Saturday we woke up bright and early to get started on projects. The girls made a fairy garden and the boys started working on Sally's playhouse.
We made a fairy house using an empty orange juice container. I hot glued pebbles to the outside and made a door out of popsicle sticks. My MIL glued pinecone parts on a cardboard cone for the roof.
Here is the finished product. I love how it turned out.
On Saturday night we had some friends over for pizza and played games.
Sunday we were up bright and early. The Easter Bunny had come!! He even left his paw prints when he was hopping around the house.
The Easter bunny brought Sally a whole basket of goodies!
Then we went outside to see that he had also hidden eggs for her in the front yard! She had so much fun finding them.
Then it was time for the real meaning of Easter. We attended the most beautiful Easter service at HOPE. It was seriously so moving! After church, we hurried home to get ready for the Easter lunch we were hosting. Everybody brought stuff so it was super easy. The girls had an Easter egg hunt in the yard and it was precious seeing them help each other find the eggs. They are at such a sweet age right now.
It was a perfect day spent with family!
