Henry 12 Months!!

My baby boy is now 1 year old!! 

Here are the weekly pictures.

My boy is still not sleeping all night but its getting a little better. He has only slept through the night one time. To say I am tired is an understatement.

Henry understands "no" and when you say it he shakes his head and laughs. 

He started standing up in the middle of the room. I know he is going to walk soon! He also loves to get into the cabinets and bookcases. 

Henry now has 2 teeth!! He wears a size 4 diaper and size 12 month clothes. 

He tried his first Gibsons doughnut and loved it!

He loves to hear animal sounds...especially Kitty cat, puppy dog and duck. 

He loves to use his walker and also loves to push chairs around. 

Henry got tubes. Hopefully this will help him feel better. He has had 6 ear infections. 

Henry has starting giving kisses which is basically him opening his mouth and trying to eat your face. :)

Henry has been blowing raspberries and making spitting noises and thinks he is pretty clever. 

Henry is into EVERYTHING!!

He does not like getting his diaper changed and turns into quite the wiggle worm! He loves the bath but tries to stand up every night. 

We celebrated Easter. He wasn't sure what to do at the egg hunt.

Henry wont let me feed his with a spoon anymore so he has started eating pouches.

Sally- FIVE Years old!!

Happy 5th Birthday Monkey! My greatest accomplishment {so far} has been being your mama. I feel like it was only yesterday that we were bringing you home from the hospital....not quite sure exactly what to do. Your sweet spirit has taught me so much about life. You have taught me to slow down and enjoy each day and to not take anything too seriously. 

You have been lighting up the room ever since you made your entrance into the world and there is no stopping you. I know you are going to do great things! Your personality draws people in and makes everyone smile. You are the perfect combination of sweet and sassy...perfect for being a 5 year old! Your brother was born this year and I know that threw a wrench in your plan for being an only child. You have settled into the role of big sister so wonderfully. Its the sweetest thing to see you playing with your brother or saying "he is so cute, I just cant take it!". I know that its hard right now. Daddy is working all the time and Mommy has to constantly do things for the baby. I feel guilty baby girl....guilty that I'm too tired to play with you on some days, guilty that its not just the three of us anymore. I promise things will get better. Thank you for understanding and for still showing me love and giving hugs. Mommy needs them!

I love your imagination. Whether you are building a house for your My Little Pony's out of sticks in the front yard, fashioning a dress out of toilet paper for your dolls or drawing wonderful pictures, you are always creating. Please don't ever stop! 

You love mermaids, fairies, elephants, My Little Pony's, watching youtube "Bideos", eating a "mix", and snuggling!!

I cant wait to see you grow each year and to see the kind of woman that you will grow into. I pray that you will be kind to everyone, stick up for the underdog and never apologize for what you believe in. 

Jacob lives next door and has already asked you to marry him. You are not allowed to date until you are old and gray!!  I hope that you keep your innocence and enjoy life everyday!! You start Kindergarten in a few months and Mommy is not going to know what to do. Never let anyone make you doubt yourself. You are amazing and beautiful!

I hope you have an amazing year. I am so very proud of you and love you more than you will ever know!!
