Sally 22-23 Months

Sorry this is so late. Miss Sally turns two on Tuesday so I figured I better get this thing updated. I have decided to combine months 22-23. 

We started out your 22nd month with a trip to the Dr.'s office to get your flu shot. You were such a big girl and once you got a sucker and I let you play on the little playground outside, everything was better.

We also met some friends at a local indoor play area complete with slides, bounce houses, etc. You had a ball! 

We went to Emma Claire's birthday party and you had so much fun. You love being around other kids!

You had your Thanksgiving feast at school. You made the cutest little Indian :)

You have regressed on your sleep. Some nights you sleep all the way through and some nights are rough....you just wake up and cant seem to go back to sleep.

I finally had to break you of throwing food/cups on the floor. I just popped your arm lightly a few times...you cried and now its over. Thank goodness!

We started decorating for Christmas and also started your advent calendar. You love opening the little doors each morning.

You had another ear infection and spent some time on the couch with Daddy. You watched part of elf and said ho-ho-ho when you saw Santa...so cute!

We had a rare warm day so we went to the park to walk around the lake. You loved the millions of birds flying around and got so excited!!

We spend most of our days playing, reading books and running errands :)

You love all things Christmas and especially the trees. Thankfully you havent broken any of the ornaments. We have been trying to do a lot of Christmas activities as a family and you love them all....especially the Alpine Village. 

You love sitting on the landing of the stairs and giving hugs and kisses. You also ate baby powder...ick! I called poison control center to make sure you were going to be ok.

You love to play Dr....especially giving shots. You love when I fake cry after you give me a shot...so funny!

You are so silly...when you see a can of hairspray you want to pretend to spray it on my hair and you make the funniest hissing sound....like spray coming out of the can. 

You love to build "castles" with your blocks. You also love playing with your little people farm, etc. 

You watched Little Mermaid for the first time....and you loved it!!

We had a wonderful Christmas!! 

My favorite words that you say: elephant, alligator, monkey, kitty, cookie, fishy, book, pumpkin, ho-ho-ho, gobble gobble, hankie, cupcake. Your teachers told us that you are the smartest child in their class...yay!

We went to Minnesota after Christmas and stayed through New Years. You seemed to love the snow!

I am so happy that you were able to spend time with your Minnesota family :) 

I started giving you Eskimo (nose rub) kisses and butterfly (eyelash) kisses. We started calling them dragonfly kisses and you think that is so funny!

I love you so much baby girl!! I cant believe that you are about to be 2!!
