Such a Big Girl: You started Mother's Day Out or "School" as we call it. To say you love it is a bit of an understatement. You get so excited when we walk in and start playing right away. When it is time to pick you up, you are happy to see me, but usually want to stay and play more. It was a bit of an adjustment. You are used to sleeping for 2-3 hours every afternoon and at school they only let you sleep around 1.5 hours.
Growth: You are still weighing in around 21 pounds...little bit! You are getting taller though. You are wearing size 4 diapers and 12-18 and 18 month clothing. Your shoes are usually size 4 and that is a problem since most of your fall ones are size 5 and you don't fit into them yet.
Eating and Drinking Favorites:
Fruit: pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, apples, pears and peaches. You also LOVE the applesauce pouches!
Meats: ham, turkey, chicken, pepperoni
Others: yogurt, fruit snacks, cereal bars, grilled cheese, popsicles, hummus and crackers, graham cracker sticks, pretzels
Liquids: whole milk, water, crystal light and juice
Medical Issues: The mosquitos LOVE to eat you up! It mist be because you are so sweet :) We have to spray you down whenever we go outside or you will have huge red bug bites all over you. You also got a case of "Hand Foot Mouth". You had a high fever and a rash....you must have picked it up at school.
Playtime Favorites: Shopping cart and play food, baby dolls, Yo Gabba Gabba figurines and box, blocks, Minnie Mouse, water table
Favorite Books: Pat The Bunny, No More Monkeys Jumping On The Bed, You Are My Cupcake, Where Is Baby's Belly Button, Goodnight Moon
Favorite TV Shows/Movies: Yo Gabba Gabba, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Peppa Pig, Little Einsteins, and Princess and the Frog. You will even say "Yo Gabba Gabba" when you see it come on. It's so cute!
Loves: driving your smart trike, feeding the ducks at the parks, swinging, singing songs, going on walks, clapping, talking on your phone
Naughty Monkey: You love to "furrow" your brows when you don't like something and you have also figured out how to shake your sippy cup upside down to make stuff come out.
Milestones: You finally started to walk consistantly. It was like one day you just stood up and walked across the room. I was so proud of you and so relieved that nothing was wrong...you just had to wait until you were ready. You are also saying new words everyday and can point to eyes, nose, mouth, etc. We never even practiced...I have no idea how you learned it...smart girl!
Sally,
Words cannot express the joy and love I have for you. Each day I thank God fore all the precious memories that we are able to create together. You are so fun and such a happy girl! Mommy loves you so much!
