Baby Sally: 17 Months

Since Sally actually turned 18 months ago yesterday, I decided that probably should go ahead and post her 17 month update...since I'm....you know....a month late...gah! The time just gets away from me. I swear I have had the pictures loaded for a month. It's just taking the time to sit down and read back through my journal to remember everything that happened. So here is a recap of her 17th month ( June 11-July 11).

You took swim lessons and you did great! You were not scared of the water at all and fussed when it was time to get out. You also got your first sucker and it was love at first lick :)

I feel like you have turned into a toddler overnight...and I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Uncle Drew and Aunt Michelle came to visit and Drew wanted to see how well you were swimming. He used to be a lifeguard and wanted to work with you. We had fun in the pool.

I bought you a water table at a consignment sale for $10. You LOVE it and you love popsicles :)

You have started saying "cool" and making a lion sound "roar" (along with other animal sounds)  when prompted. 

We went to your 16 month Dr.'s appt. (a little late) and you had to get 3 shots. You cried...poor girl, but felt much better when you got a sucker and sticker. The Dr. was a little concerned that you aren't walking everywhere and told us we need to do a better job of practicing with you. What can I say? You LOVE walking on your knees. You have been doing much better holding our finger or pushing your walker. 

We took you to the splash pad for the first time and you loved it!

Bath time is still your favorite. You like to play peek a boo with the curtain!
