Baby Sally- 4 Months

Little Baby Scrunchkin-

The last 4 months have been so amazing. You are growing and changing so much and are developing quite the cute little personality. You are such a happy baby and have seriously never met a stranger. You hand out smiles left and right! You love to "talk" and seem to have a lot to say. I love mornings. You always have the biggest smile on your face when you see Mommy or Daddy. It is so sweet. We love you so much baby girl!

You are growing so much Monkey. You do not look like a newborn anymore. Your little thighs are pretty chunky and you have some chubby cheeks that I just can't seem to kiss enough! You have blue eyes (yay!) and brown hair. It's dark brown in the back and light brown in the front. You are wearing size 1 diapers and size 0-3 months and 3 month clothes. You take a bottle every 2-3 hours and normally drink between 4-5 oz. each time. You are VERY interested in the food that Mommy and Daddy eat. If we say "nom, nom, nom" while we chew, you think it is the funniest thing ever.

Length: 23 inches- 33rd percentile

Weight: 11 lbs 2 ozs- 9th percentile

Head Circumference: 40 cm- 49th percentile

This Month

You are going to sleep between 7:30-8:30 at night and waking up around 4:30-5:30 in the morning. If we give you a bottle, you ill usually fall back asleep for a few more hours. You take around 3 naps a day.

You have found your hands and know how to use them. You are always grabbing things...including Mommy's hair, necklaces, and earrings...youch! You are so strong!

You love to "stand up" while Mommy and Daddy hold your hands. You also LOVE to look at yourself in the mirror and you always smile when you see yourself. It's the cutest thing ever!

You LOVE baths!! They calm you down and make you smile and talk.

You have not rolled over yet, but you do roll over to your side. You are still being swaddled at night. We tried to stop swaddling you and you slept horribly.

You love putting everything in your mouth...hands, dress, blankets, Sophie, etc.

Mommy went back to work the last two weeks of school. It was no problem though, you had lots of people wanting to take care of you!

We celebrated my first Mother's Day.

You got Christened at church.

You went to your first Redbirds baseball game.

*You stayed with your first real "paid" babysitter, Evelyn.

*We went to our Childbirth Class Reunion. Everyone from our Childbirth Class brought their babies. It was so much fun!

*Mommy pushed you in several races, Harbor Town 5K, Gibson 5K, Junior League 5K, and Zoom Through The Zoo 4 Miler. Thank goodness you are finally able to ride in your "big girl" stroller!

*Went to Levitt Shell or hear some live music.

*Laughed for the first time.

*Swam in the pool for the first time. You liked it!!

*Pooped in the bathtub for the first time.
