Hoot-Hoot Baby Shower

I had a baby shower yesterday and it was the cutest ever! My cousins/friends, Lindsey and Meredith, hosted it for me and they did such an amazing job! Check out the drink station. Everything was blue and pink with owl accents. I loved the pink and white paper straws in the mason jars....super cute!

The food table...and boy was it yummy! Fresh berries, biscuits with jam and honey, maple bacon skewers, doughnut holes, etc. So good!

I loved this idea....they took all of my belly pictures and printed them out and hung them on ribbons.

My gifts...I got so many wonderful things.

Here is a picture of the invitation (framed) and more pictures of me and my mama and my mama pregnant. Although she couldn't be there with us, I felt like she was there in spirit. The pictures of her were an awesome touch!

This was a station where people could write their wishes for Baby Sally. I have not seen them yet :) I love that yarn covered S. I asked if I could have it for the nursery..she said I could...but not yet....she must have another plan for it...Hmm.....

One of the things that Meredith and Lindsey did was have the guests bring a baby book for me instead of a card. I loved this. As a teacher, I have been collecting board books for my future baby for as long as I can remember, but I didn't get any duplicates..yay! I cannot wait to read them all to Sally.

Meredith's sweet baby girl, Carol Hannah, was there and was a bog help opening the gifts. I knew she needed to practice before Santa comes this year.

Some of my awesome gifts I got.....a baby bathtub, a rocking frog for Sally to ride on, a "kicky pants" gown, several cute outfits/onesies, blankets, lotion, oil, etc., sippy cups, cute spoon/fork set...too much to list. These ladies were VERY generous!

I got some really cool Chewbeads....have you seen these necklaces? What a fun thing to have....Sally can chew on my necklace now all she wants.
